We just completed a 12 day TMB hike beginning and ending near Chamonix. The Auberge du Manoir was a terrific place both to start and end the trip. Great rooms with views of Mont Blanc. Frederick the proprietor was extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. Great breakfast with lots of personal touches. An added plus is that it is next door to Albert 1er, the only Michelin 2 star restaurant in the area.

Spent a total of 4 nights here at the beginning and end of our Aug 2017 TMB hike. Rooms spacious with balcony. View of mountains. Breakfast fabulous, including home made yogurt, and perfect location. Highly recommend.

I stayed here at the end of a hiking trip through France and Italy and adored it. My partner and I were there for three nights and would have loved to stay longer. Traditional alpine decor, clean, and great amenities, and good wifi. The innkeeper was incredibly helpful, cheery, and kind. We enjoyed homemade yogurt everyday at breakfast, a wonderful view from our balcony, and a friendly greeting from the resident golden retriever. 4 minute walk to the center of town and really quite with excellent views of Mont Blanc. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you'll be so happy you did.

We stayed at this lovely family run hotel several years ago and thought it was good then - it is now even better. The bedrooms are spacious and very well equipped, we were in room 4 and had a wonderful view. Our hosts were absolutely charming and had obviously put a huge amount of love and hard work into making their hotel really special. Breakfast was great - lovely pastries and homemade yogurts and lots of other goodies. We will definitely be back.

Stayd in July for trekking, nice and cosy and good hotel, good WiFi in rooms. Breakfast small but good, very personal and nice service. Only problem is that lobby service is closed after 21.00 hour, but if you know about it then it is okey. Good location, only 5 min walk from City Center and shops.

Great hotel, lovely room interiors, and a great view from the balcony of the Aiguille du midi. The owner/manager of the hotel was particularly helpful and what a pleasure to stay here. The breakfast was delicious including some homemade ingredients. Highly recommended.

Fabulous hotel owned and run by Frédéric and his wife. Our room had a breathtaking view on the mountains, was crystal clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best one we had in years. All ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. Frédéric went the extra mile to help us arrange for trips around Chamonix. Very family-friendly as well.
