My wife ate here for lunch by chance when we were on a day trip during a long weekend in Lyon. We had not booked and by chance an existing booking had just left. The fixed menu at lunch time is fairly reasonable and quintessentially healthy, which is a nice option after nearly a week of typical lyonnaise restaurant food. Food was freshly prepared, well presented and delicious. Would we eat here again, an unqualified yes!

We had high expectations based on TripAdvisor ratings, but got disappointed with the lunch. Friendly owner and fast service. The lunch was inexpensive (€10 for main course +€5 with desert), with 3 choices for main course and 4 or 5 for desert and not possible to chose to eat a la carte. The main courses were all prepared long upfront and then heated up in the oven and lacking imagination, lacking finesse. We had a feeling of eating like pre-processed food with very basic taste, overcooked potatoes and heavy on sauce to cover it all. My companion struggled all afternoon digesting.
This place is good if you're on a student budget &/or are in a hurry and just need to fill your stomach, but skip this place if you look for a bit more true nice gastronomy.

Everything is freshly made from ingredients from the market. I like the concept of the restaurant une semaine sur deux. *Every other week*. You just have to get in sync with the schedule :)
The food is fresh, not too heavy, and delicious.

The restaurant is located several minutes walk from the city center near Championet which is in a trendy part of town near lots of other restaurants and cafes. Definitely worth a try and defintely a place I would go back to

The restaurant is a little out of the main town but just a few minutes walk..... And well worth it!! You would probably pass by it because the exterior is nothing special.... But inside its a lovely restaurant on 2 levels.... The food was really tasty and the service was friendly and quick. I highly recommend if you are in Grenoble to give this place a try. We can't wait to go back !!

There was a bit of confusion about the time for our booking, mostly because I like to think I know more French than I actually do! In short, we arrived just as the kitchen was taking last orders, but we were still able to enjoy and absolutely delicious lunch at a leisurely pace.
We both liked the sound of the duck which was one of the specials of the day, and it was fantastic. Asking the waiter to pick the wine for us, we were delighted with his choice: it was somewhere between a pinot noir and a merlot and went perfectly avec le canard. For afters, I had the baked chocolate dessert and Di had the pans cotta, and neither of us would have changed a thing.
This place draws a very eclectic crowd, which should be no surprise given the quality and good value of the food. The atmosphere was great, with what music that sounded like the Rolling Stones ticking over behind the hubbub of a contended clientele. We will definitely revisit Une Semaine Sur Deux if we're ever in Grenoble again around lunch time.
