This restaurant was AMAZING. I would recommend calling a week or so in advance to get a table at this small intimate restaurant. The service, the time between courses, the wine, and the food were all spectacular. for the "entree" (starter) I ordered the foie gras maison (prepared in house) and it came with a small salad and fig jam. The taste was unbelievable. My boyfriend had poached egg with a creamy sauce and mini shrimps (mini shrimps is not a good translation, but it is difficult to translate all of the food). He said it was "super, magnifique, la meilleure entrée que j'ai manger au restaurant" (the best entree he has eaten in a restaurant). For the plat principal (main dish) I had the scallops in a cream sauce with mashed potatoes. They were cooked perfectly and practically melted in my mouth. My boyfriend had the Magret Canard (duck) He said the texture and consistency was great. And for dessert I had creme brulee a la chartreuse. It had just the perfect amount of chartreuse taste. My only small completely minor complaint was that the sugar on top was not burned to my liking. And benoit had the mille-feuille frambroise witch was tastey as well. ANd at the end we digested with a shot of genepie which is the alcohol made of plants that is slightly less strong than chartrese. This was a great food experience, and I believe we will be returning

Simply the best! One will be so lucky to be able to have a meal here. It's Monday night, I arrived first. Watching the rain outside makes everything so romantic. The food is amazingly delicious. I will come back to Grenoble just for this restaurant.

Everything perfect: delicious food and fast service (although there is only one guy running the restaurant)!

I will never forget this birthday!
In June my fiance and I went to this place, small but welcoming, with a kind owner-chef-waiter preparing everything for us! I cannot forget the foie gras a la maison for entree, the 'rognons de veau' (kidneys of a calf )cooked in Porto wine and the chocolate mousse with fruits I had for dessert. The chef in the end offered us a shot of the famous Chartreuse liquer, made by the monks in the monastery up on mount Chartreuse.
Cosy place, delicious food, with local ingredients only and not to forget the local wines. Definately worth a visit!

The ingredients used for meals are more or less the same for everybody from starters to mains dishes. We were served with attention but with limited originality (the guy is alone to cook, to serve and to wash everything when it is finished so it may require some sharp organization!).
Average price for the value however far from exception and best restaurants.
It was a nice moment with attention for guests : this guy has really a good organization!
