We very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent - eggs, fruit salad, delicious cheeses and meats, croissants both regular and chocolate, great yogurt, cold cereal, fresh orange juice and apple juice and excellent coffee! Our room was very comfortable. The hotel is excellently located! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting Lyon. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, breakfast is really good too.
The rooms are a bit small but considering the building where the hotel is, they are more than fine.

Room Tip: In addition to the hangers I would consider to but some small container for t-shirt or put a much smaller desk and adding a drawers. boxes

My husband and I stayed here for three days in the fall. Our room, one up in grade from lowest, was spotless and stylish. (Think they call it Acte 2)In fact, I found the whole hotel especially well decorated, a tribute to the owner, who I was told s a woman. Location is wonderful. Neighborhood feel, but close to all sights, including the nearby “restaurant row”. Nice clothes shops too! Walk to Old town, Place Bellecour, quick metro to Beaux Artes Museum. Like other travelers, we did run into the no air con after certain date and were quite hot and mosquito-bitten one night, (No screens on widows, French won’t admit they have mosquitos.) This is a systemic problem; they literally can’t turn the AC back on without major hassle. A problem especially for we air con obsessed Americans, so don’t know what can be done. Maybe just check weather before you go. If it’s the fall and weather is warm, try one of the larger chains. Otherwise, recommend this place highly.

It was our first time in Lyon and we had no idea what to expect. For our surprise, the hotel is located super close to most sites and a short walk to the Cathedral where you can get the tram to go up to it. The hotel is nothing out of the ordinary but its staff made us feel welcomed and they treated us super well. Specially the receptionist named Fatima. She was a delightful person. I spent my birthday (Dec 20) all day in bed with the most horrible cold and my husband told the staff not to disturb me because I needed to rest. They did not disturb me but instead, they wanted to know if I needed anything so they would get for me (like, soup, meds, etc). The breakfast is a bit overpriced for what it is but good for its standards. Our room overlooked the Theater, a beautiful old building and above a very fancy underground parking lot. From the hotel to the train station by taxi, you should pay no more than 15 Euros. More than that, you know you are being robbed.
