The waiter suggested me a buffet... good advice.
The food was good, plentiful, tasty.
The atmostphere is OK, I was alone, and my table was quite private, I like it.

My second Visit
1st time was interesting; the second time confirmed the “law of diminishing return”. Location is in the Chinese sector, the restaurant is in need of an overhaul, it looks tired.
The food, well, again disappointing, a lot of deep fried frozen food, not even a hint of camouflage, just plain old frozen deep fried.
The best bit was the pork in sauce, interesting and the meat was tender. No prawn crackers, no hot and sour soup.
This restaurant is fine if you are hungry and don’t want to spend a lot, but it’s not authentic Chinese, is a plain old, low end Chinese buffet.
Would I go there again? No.

We were due to go to the Japanese restaurant but our hosts took us here.
The place was packed and there was a strange contraception on the door frame to let you in and out, a sort of tent like feature.
We had a table for 5 and we went to help ourselves to the buffet, some of it was really good like the spring rolls and the scallops in breadcrumbs, there was some small deep fried ‘whole’ fish, sort of whitebait, they looked rather crunchy, so I did not participate.
The rest of the food was average to ok, some of the dishes were running low and needed to be refilled without having to either ask or wait.
The price was fine, the choice of beer was Chinese a strange choice considering it was meant to be a Vietnamese restaurant.
Overall ok, I suppose having been to China and the UK is was possibly behind them in some levels of quality and variety.
One thing that I did not like was the ‘open’ view of staff cleaning/scraping plates and washing them, best left to the imagination.

While virtually all Asian food in France is catered to the French taste buds, this restaurant makes a decent attempt to stay (somewhat) true to Tradition Asian recipes.
It is very modern, clean and tidy, which makes you feel more at ease.
The buffet has a wide variety of dishes and well overall it is good!!
