The hotel itself has lovely character, historic charm, and inviting communal areas. However, the room was quite different—rather modern and clinical, lacking any character. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. The service was very good, particularly during dinner.

Many feature traditional lime-coated walls, French ceilings, and custom-made furniture crafted by a local carpenter. The locally made curtains also add an extra touch of elegance.

The hotel was in a beautiful area and it was nice there was a parking available. The room was very basic (the bathroom was new and clean). There is no elevator. Maybe you can put that on your site or ask when people make reservations that they are able to do stairs. The holiday was for my 50th birthday. I think it would have been nice if something was offered for this occasion. The hotel is more then expensive enough, 1 drink would have been nice, maybe with the breakfast. The food in the restaurant was really nice. Something to recommend.
Beautiful setting on a cove of the Lake of Annecy. We stayed in the Jean Reno room which was spacious and the views from every window were amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
We stayed for four nights and wished we could;d have extended our stay! The location is dreamy and the service is top notch! The front desk crew was so gracious and wonderful, helping us find the right dining experience and helping to navigate the area. Our room overlooked the lake and it was always a delight to see the changing light and activity below.
We cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel, the natural beauty of the surrounding area and our desire to return!
Can't recommend Abbaye De Talloires enough. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The location is out of this world! The hotel is magical, and the staff were so welcoming.
Breakfast was superb, and the cleanliness level was 10/10! The spa is quite nice as well.
Will definitely visit again. Well done!
