we stayed in Pierre & Vacances Resorts in other parts France and when we stayed here we were little disappointed with the size of the rooms. we were 2 adults 2 kids ages 10 and 8 the bed room upstairs was ok but downstairs sofa which was the bed was very uncomfortable. next door there were very loud people which they would begin partying at 1 in the morning over all the rooms were clean and very friendly staff.

Well located for shops and restaurants. A regular bus service to the ski lifts is available a very short walk away. The bakery service for morning croissants and baguette was a nice touch. Very clean comfortable accommodation with friendly and professional staff. Excellent value for money in an expensive resort.
We had an excellent stay in Chalets Solaise de Pierre et vacances. The studios are clean and have everything for a nice stay. At the reception you can order bread and croissants. The pool is also a nice advantage, we love to swim in the heated pool after a nice skiing day! We are certainly coming back!
For the price paid, the standard of the accommodation was very satisfactory in an expensive resort. Staff are very friendly although they are not always around. the property was very clean throughout.
Friendly staff (especially if you try and speak French with them) and well situated for the town and pistes this place more than matched our expectations for a Pierre et Vacances alpine apartment.
The decor is typically french alpine with plenty of bare wood but certainly functional. There's also a fresh bread delivery service if you can't face the 400m walk to the local supermarket. The water not only tasted delicious but was plentiful and hot in the bathroom. I didn't use the swimming pool but those that did were positive about the experience.
Now some opportunities for improvement:
The ski room lockers are a bit small and the lack of heating means your boots won't be nice and dry in the morning. We actually rented a locker in the town centre which seemed a much better solution.
The welcome pack is a bit stingy. Luckily I've experienced this before so I brought extra dishwasher tablets. Also some kitchen basics would be appreciated. Such as salt, pepper, cooking oil that sort of thing. We had to buy this in the expensive supermarket and couldn't leave it for the next guests. It's probably company policy for hygiene reasons but it seems a shame.
Finally maybe a change of towels midweek would be a nice touch. There's a lot of showering on a ski holiday!
Would I recommend Pierre et Vacances? Of course, it's a reliable and dependable chain consistently providing clean accommodation with friendly staff.
