My stay at Central Hotel Freiburg was extremely pleasant, the rooms are clean and all staff are very friendly and helpful, starting from the receptionists at the desk who always welcome you with a big smile, up to the waiters at the restaurant and the generator, who was very kind during my late night check out. Central Hotel Freiburg, you make your guests feel like staying home, and there is noting better you can do.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Central hotel!

We booked the 4th floor suite since we were traveling with my son and needed the extra bed. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The beds were great and I appreciated all of the amenities in the bathroom. Please note, there is no elevator that runs to the 4th floor. You have to take the elevator to the 3rd floor and walk up one flight.

The staff was very very kind and friendly! We had a very early morning checkout to catch our train and breakfast wasn't opened yet, but the lady behind the desk was very happy to bring us coffee to-go. Very much appreciated.

We loved the free breakfast, especially coffee served on real china! Very fancy. The breakfast choices were excellent. Everyone can find something to eat whether it's cured meats, cooked eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit or pastries.

The only negative comment I have is the hotel smells like cigarette smoke. The minute you walk in to the hotel from the outside it hits you in the face, and you can smell it up and down the stairs. We didn't smell it in our 4th floor suite but if cigarette smells bother you be aware of this.

Otherwise, we'd stay here again. We loved the location and it's a walk to old town and other attractions.

The hotel is at a very convenient location, steps away from the tram stop. The room was very clean and the personnel very helpful and polite. The breakfast was also good, with enough options. Overall very satisfied.
