Great having a little extra room for 3 adult women. Enjoyed ourselves very much in Heidelberg. Be warned, many stairs to get up to the apartment but that seems normal for Europe. Could not connect to wifi but there was a computer available for our use.

Stayed 2 nights in May with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and 3-year-old granddaughter. The apartment is very well located within an easy 10 minute walk to Altstadt, Heidelberg castle, the old bridge, and other popular sites. The deck and large windows provided great views of the city. Volker is an exceptional host and treated us like family. Picked us up and dropped us off at the train station in his van, provided a car seat for the granddaughter, beers in the refrigerator, coffee, and many other essentials. Highly recommend!
I stayed almost a week in this delightful place! I found the loft to be a perfect home away from home with a fabulous view and with space for both work and entertaining.
It has an informal charm and the host, Volker Winegrath is a friendly and helpful contact with excellent Like much of Heidelberg, this loft is atop a hill with a series of steps. The view and atmosphere are definitely worth It. And there is parking below if you have a car.
Can't wait to go back!!!
