Great location in the altstadt, wonderful food (some of the best we had during our two weeks in Germany!), good mix of locals and other tourists. Good portion sizes and decently priced. Friendly service. Would highly recommend!

This place gets full, and with good reason, the food is great. The menu is in 5-6 languages, how helpful is that! We had venison goulash and the pork on spätzle. Fantastic. Good beer and wine. Very nice prices. I'd go back in a heartbeat. But keep your cool as it gets crowded, and is pretty tight inside.

Our family had a great time at Bier Adam. We got a great table outdoors and our server was top notch and really added to the evening. The quality and portions of our meals were more than fair. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good authentic German food and very friendly waitress. Recommend 100% . Menu has a lot for everyone to choose from and not to expensive.

We were on holiday in Berchtesgaden, it was a Friday night, and we were looking for a place to eat. We liked the look of things at Bier-Adam so we sat at one of the outdoor tables. Things went from a great visit to down hill very quickly.
Our server must have been overwhelmed, or just wasn't meant to be in the food service line of work.
We ordered drinks and I received my bier quickly, but my wife's wine arrived probably 15 minutes later. I ordered water twice and never received a thing. It took three tries to pay my bill and I just wanted to get out of there by that time.
So hopefully that is not the norm.
I love good German food and I will have to give this place an average rating.
My dish was the geschnetzeltes mit champignons, and my wife got the blattsalat mit gebratenen putenbruststreifen. I did enjoy my dinner, but my wife thought that her salad for the price really was lacking in ingredients thinking that there would be a variety of salad on her plate as with most German salads.
I would try the place again if I could avoid the server we had to deal with on this past visit, but my wife said that I would be going on my own.
So that pretty much sums up our experience. It was a 50/50 night out.
