This was a nice hotel for the price. It was very well-located, clean and the staff was very attentive. It includes breakfast with a good selection of cold cuts, juices, coffee, eggs and bacon and some cereals. The rooms were spacious for Europe, but the bathroom was a bit tight. The beds were comfortable, but the sheets were very rough and I didn't like that at all. My room came with a balcony with an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains. The view made it worth coming to this hotel. I spent quite a bit of time out on the balcony just enjoying the view.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a balcony that has a view of the mountains

This small and friendly hotel, is on 4 flours with an elevator. We had free parking right outside, and good free WiFi. It's easy to walk to the train station from here, where you can ride to the top of Germany's highest peak (Zugspitze).
The hotel is very well located, with shops & restaurants on the doorstep.
We had a small issue with our booking, but the proprietor was quick to resolve, and dealt with hotels.com on our behalf. Excellent service.

Generally the opposite is true but this hotel is better than the fotos. The owners as well as the staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The location is central, only 500m away from shopping street and 400m away from the skibus stop (the lift is app. 1.2km away) Breakfast was also nice.

We stayed here a couple of years ago, and as we wanted to spend longer in Garmisch this trip, had to return to this property. Family owned and operated, very friendly and helpful. In close proximity to walk to shops and cafes/restaurants. The bus to the station is at the end of the street. The recent addition of the elevator is great. Would go back to this property at any time we were going to be in Garmisch.

This is a great hotel for families. We had our daughter and her husband, plus our two teenage grandsons with us. Being grandpa and grandma we had our own room, number 214 and our family was just down the hall. The rooms were very roomy with very modern bathrooms. Our room faced the back of the hotel that offered a beautiful mountain view and a huge veranda shared with the room next door. The breakfast room was bright and cheery and the food offered, wonderful breads and rolls, scrambled eggs, meats and cheeses, cereals and fruits, was all we needed to last most of the day.
The staff of the hotel could not have been nicer and anymore helpfull, always with a smile and ready to answer any questions. Always a good morning or good evening coming and going from the hotel. Our one and only complaint would be the hard beds, but they are what you find anywhere in Germany.
The locations was perfect for visiting the Garmisch area. Within walking distance of all downtown activities and several great restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel and gladly stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back have a mountain view, rooms on the front have a street view.
