Nothing else was open for lunch in the area, so we decided to try this. Helpful person at the counter. We had soup and herring salad. Both very good. Only 3 tables, so we had to share. Mostly for takeout. I'd eat here again. Inexpensive.

For a quick fix and meal, this is the go-to place! They have fantastic fish sandwiches and hot meals that you can eat in their place or have outside at their bistro style tables.

Not really a full-blown restaurant, more a few tables in a small fish market. Good selection of nicely prepared ready-to-eat seafood: different preparations of shrimp, the ubiquitous herring this way and that, seafood salad, and more. Fresh, clean, and a welcome addition to the pork and dumpling offerings in town. Nice white china and real siverware. Great place for a snack and/or portion control - it's sold by weight.

Beautiful fresh fish, eat in at a couple of little tables next to the counter, or take-out raw fish. Nice array of salads, seafood, shrimp, all the herrings, available by weight. If you eat in, it comes on a nice ceramic plate with real silverware. Close to the pedestrian street in the center of town. Wonderful addition to the array of restaurants in Garmish, and it's great to have a fish monger too.
