I booked this hotel for visiting an Exhibition between 28-30 March 2023. Unfortunately, I got Covid. Booking conditions did not allow cancellation at the last minute and I was forced to pay the full amount although the hotel could easily sell the room as there were lack of rooms due to exhibition. Unfortunately, the hotel did not want to find a compromise solution and insisted to apply contract conditions. I have been traveling on business and pleasure for more than 20 years, and none of the hotels I booked were so unfriendly even for easy reasons such as wrong booking date, wrong booked city or anything. The hotel received as supporting documentation my doctors letter as well. So please do not be surprised in the future if a guest shows up even when the guest has Covid and touches entire breakfast buffet because this hotel will say to the guest you booked it with these conditions, either you come or you do not come, we will keep your money and put other guests under danger. This is likely to happen. When you book this hotel, think about your safety first. This my conclusion. Besides this, maybe legally correct but not customer friendly approach- especially in a sold out market situation .

Bei Buchung hat der Gast die Wahl eine flexible Rate zu wählen um das Risiko im Falle einer Verhinderung oder Nichtantritt der Reise zu seinen Gunsten zu umgehen. Wenn der Gast die preislich reduzierte, jedoch nicht flexible Rate gebucht hat, trägt er somit das Risiko bei Nichtanreise auch im Falle von Covid oder höherer Gewalt.
Da es sich außerdem um einen Messezeitraum handelt können wir auch keine Ausnahmen gewähren.
