This is the restaurant when you are tiered of Munichs crowded "Bierstuben" with mediocre heavy bavarian dishes, noise, and desperately waiting for the waiters attention. The spice bazar is very much the opposite.
The place is spacious with in- and outdoor serving, few tourists, tasteful modern design, located on a withdrawn modern sunny square close to the Residens. We ordered four dishes: Tahine, arabic salad, a meat dish, and a shrimp salad. All of them where delicious and fresh made. We drank weissbier from HB, which went very well with the aromatic dishes, and finished with a good the and coffee. Service was good and quick. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was the perfect suggestion by a friend of ours. The service was really good, our waitress was very friendly, accommodating and she knew the menu well. We had a few starters to share and they were all divine. The main course was just as delicious! We'll definitely go back again and recommend this place to our friends!

I've been missing Cafe Eisbach and so with some trepidation came here for lunch today. I need not have worried - Spice Bazaar has all the calm, relaxed friendliness of Eisbach but now with absolutely gorgeous food. OK not cheap but not expensive either given location. We had the most delicious lunch I've had in many, many lunches in Munich. The staff are absolutely professional and friendly and the atmosphere just delightful. Will certainly be back and highly recommend this Middle Eastern influenced place if you need a central but peaceful retreat from beer gardens and bustle.

Mouthwatering flavours of the Mediterranean and the Orient, on a creative bazaar like menu - but with a contemporary take on the cuisine. No, don't worry, it wasn't a kitschy 'fusion food' restaurant! Reading the menu felt like we were travelling through an old middle eastern food souk+mediterranean open air food market! Great fun :)

It helped that we had a terrific guy called Pablo who waited on us and guided us through the menu... he was hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly!

Great interior decor and attention to detail - it looked modern while retaining the warmth and richness of the region. The Spice Bazaar was a wonderful find!
