We dropped in here after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and - they were almost all correct! The gelato is delicious - smooth and rich; some of the best we've had anywhere. They have over 500 flavors which they rotate through, with 18 in the case at any one time. While there are the usual standards, they encourage you to try anything that you'd like ("It's free ice cream!" the server said), and that gives one a chance to try something you wouldn't normally encounter, such as the fried chicken gelato (in honor of Oktoberfest), which was surprisingly good. After we made our decisions - a scoop each of two different flavors - the server urged us each to try a taste of yet a third flavor ("You get this neat plastic spoon!") and he stuck that taste on top of everything else.
Christmas songs were being piped in as background music, so we asked if that was usual. No, the server said; he had just felt that, as it was an unusually cold day (in September), he felt like Christmas.
It's a fun place, with an Alice-in-Wonderland motif, and if you're in the mood for some high quality gelato served with humor and kindness, you should check it out.
