I was there in April-2018 for 1 night. The hotel rooms were clean & the bed was comfortable. However the rooms were bit small.
The restaurant was over packed but we managed to get a seat. The food was good specially the fish & wine. The morning breakfast had a lot of options to chose from.
The stay was pleasant & the staff was very friendly.
Now coming to the location of the hotel, it is away from the city & one can experience complete silence here. In the night one can take a long walk around the hotel on the roads which is very refreshing.
One can reach here by own car/taxi. Its 25 min from the train station & old town of Nuremberg.
The hotel is a theme based one & has interesting things to see but not for along time.
However, the tarrif is on the higher side. One can get better options also in the downtown Nuremberg at these rates.

I’d rather give an advice for someone who’s considering this place for staying... If you don’t wanna be disappointed with the feeling that you’ve stayed at the middle class Motel near the road for the price of Sheraton or Le Meridian in Nürnberg, better choose another place.

They’ve created a “story” that they are “Masters” in hospitality business. Perhaps - in hostel services and not in hotel ones. Beds and pillows were so uncomfortable that we could not have a normal sleeping. Different bathroom accessories (except a soap) - for additional price! No hooks in the bathroom for your clothes, wardrobes or towels. You should put everything on the toilet! No place for suitcases - put everything on the floor and jump over it like a mountain goat. Food in their restaurant is unpalatable and million times overpriced. The parking garage for additional price and if there’s no place on the smallest outdoor parking, you have to pay extra for the “happiness” to stay in this wonderful place.
And after that you must continue to believe that they are “Masters”...

Charming country inn with plenty of modern twists, comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant. The public spaces are visually pleasing, and the courtyard reminds of a typical Old Town square. Worth the visit.

I love the feel as you drive in: lovely courtyards and wonderful terrace for dinner. The food btw is excellent and the local wines well worth a shot.

The staff is obviously very professional and efficient. Attention to details show you they care and are well trained.

The one thing that let it down a bit for me was the bedroom. Split over two floors (both cramped) with no place to sit and relax, tiny bathrooms and cheap standard toiletries, I would have happily stayed in a more traditional room with one big bed and a better lay-out. Ask for that.

Interesting and very good hotel located between the airport and Erlangen in Boxdorf. It was an old farmhouse around 300y ago but now perfectly renovated and with additional buildings, and gardens featuring a mini villages style compound. The facilities are really good and the whole hotel is nicely decorated. It also features meeting rooms enough for small events and a nice outdoor garden Japanese style. The hotel restaurant was also very good and it also features a private room if necessary. All staff was very friendly and helpful. I got a Ryokan penthouse and I can say it was quite spacious and again nicely decorated with simple but nice Japanese style décor. Breakfast was also very good with a good variety of choices and quality products. Internet is also available.
