Description: One of the few original Italian restaurants, from the products to the kitchen where they come out of the delicious pasta dishes and baked delicious and crispy pizza, from the staff to the very cordial service which are always ready and available to advise the undecided. We are very pleased to welcome all our customers, and all those who will become it, in our cozy restaurant. Many greetings from the Michelangelo staff.

More Italian than many other would be Italian restaurants. The pasta is amazing, close to perfection. Dishes are well prepared and presented. Nice wine list with both up scale and affordable wines. Very friendly staff, who were helpful when one of our kids got sick. Never felt embarassed and made sure our food was kept warm. Great outside terrace.

We ate here twice. Great selection of pizzas, pastas, salads, specials - staff speak good English. Food is really tasty. Good value. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend spinach, ricotta and chanterelles pasta.

Dined here with family (we're Italian) on recommendation of our AirBnB host. Shared a large mixed salad to start before we had our mains of bavetti and clams, veal saltimbocca, gnocchi, and penne amatriciana. All the pasta were cooked al dente and service was adequate/attentive. Didn't really want for anything. Would go back if ever in Fussen.

The standard pizzas are a pretty good size - we got 3 for 4 of us, and had plenty left over. The pastas we saw passing by while we were waiting were also pretty big portions. The mixed salad was very good, and also big portions. Id' recommend this restaurant, especially if you have picky eaters, or folks who need a break from Bavarian meat-and-sauce meals.

Fussen is overrun with quality Italian joints, apparently. Go figure. Service was pretty average - was seated at a table with others, despite there being 3-4 completely empty tables. Maybe they were expecting a 9pm rush on a soggy Wednesday night? Anyway, the pizza here is good, but not in the same league as Il Pescatore. I'd recommend you go there instead.
