I highly recommend a trip to aroma for the huge array of tasty dishes on offer. The dumplings (both steamed and baked) are a great intro and the range of mains (seafood, meat and vegetarian) are sure to exceed expectations.

All the reviews stating that the staff are not that friendly are ....... True! However, as long as you're not looking to become best friends with your waiter, this is great spot to eat authentic food at very reasonable prices.

I have been here twice and both times the Chinese food including the dim sum was very good

They also serve more authentic Chinese food than normal greasy Chinese Noodles. Good place to try new dishes.

The service was fine and the prices are fair

The kids, or in our case, the grandkids, are coming for the holidays and you have planned all your menus except for one day off. You can always go out somewhere, right? Except it's gotta be quick. Chinese, right? We reserved a table at Aroma, a Berlin institution on the Kant Street. There's something about round tables that aready facsinates the kids. We ordered a number of the dim sum for starters, a specialty of Aroma, which the grown-ups liked and the kids tried and made funny faces at. We followed this up with a number of fried meat dishes: pork, chicken and duck, and fried and steamed rice. The service was familiar, friendly and quick. The tap beer was good, and the tea was appreciated. When the bill came, I was suprised that we had been there for one and a half hours already, and no child had screamed, fussed or even fidgited more than usual. The kids asked politely if they could take the chopsticks with them (they had made a good try at using them) and that wish was promptly granted. We ordered from the normal tourist menu. There is also an extensive cantonese menu, for another visit. So we were able to enjoy a meal in a restaurant with our grandchildren, and they want to go back on the next visit! The bill for four grown-ups and 3 children was 76 Euros. Amazing, we'll be back.

Excellent authentic cantonese Dim Sum. A must try for everyone that loves Dim Sum!
Usually crowded with non-tourists - therefore the fogged windows - still a very nice and friendly atmosphere.
