Hotel is renovated and comfortable. My twin room was spotlessly clean, roomy and well organized. The hotel is just a few steps away from Nollendorfstrasse u-bahn, a great location in the fun Schöneberg neighbourhood. Room price and price of breakfast were both a bargain. And to top it off, the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The room was good and clean. Not luxus but convenient and comfortable. And price was not high. Near underground station and good bus connections. Hotel services are Limited but e.g good restaurnats are just round the corner.

Room Tip: If possible, choose a room to the yard.

What a little gem, although initial impressions of the location were not favourable everything else about this hotel is a positive.
The actual location is ideal for travelling to all the major sites of the city. The U Bahn station is 3-4 minutes walk away and line U2 is a central line which covers a multitude of the key attractions. Buy a day ticket, use the public transport and you'll soon agree the location is great. Even without the transport you can be in some key tourist areas in 10 minutes walking time.
Nightlife is not buzzing around the hotel but if you like it quiet and want to experience something a little more authentic there are a few bars in the streets around the hotel.....give them a try we enjoyed all that we went into.
The hotel was a typical continental style hotel, minimalist but clean and functional. There were no noise problems and the staff were very friendly. More than capable of speaking in English but happy to encourage and help if you want to practice your German. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom and a good price make this a great choice.
Breakfast is optional but for around 7 Euro's not a bad option and a relaxed unhurried way to start the day.

Room Tip: Make use of the UBahn - the closest station is very central to so many key tourist attractions...especially the U2 line.

In a quiet location but close to everything. Older building but comfortable. Staff very friendly. I was at the back of the hotel; would ask for a street facing building if I revisited.
Breakfast was exceptional continental Europe style. Definitely recommend value for money. Good memories.

I booked Hotel Sachenhof a bit randomly because I was struggling to find a free room in Berlin at the last minute, but it worked out great!

The location is perfect, roughly equidistant from Charlottenburg and Mitte. The U-Bahn to anywhere is about 100m away, and the 100 "sightseeing" bus stops just around the corner and up the street a bit. There are lots of decent restaurants one street over around Winterfeld, and it's walking distance to the nightlife (if you're gay!).

The hotel itself was nice - for some reason I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a triple room, which was actually very big for just me, but it was clean, well-fitted and the bed was fine. The staff were very friendly and efficient on the front desk. I didn't try the breakfast.

Overall it's a great, inexpensive base for exploring Berlin. Would book again.
