Was brought here for lunch by local colleagues. The restaurant looks pretty high end when we stepped in but the lunch memu was reasonable. We ordered a 2-course lunch that only cost Euro11.50. Food was so good that I finished every bit of the pasta. Will come back again.

As others have said, the charm of this place is its location inside the architecturally and historically interesting Haeckesher Hof. The outdoor seating is inviting and allows for a great view of both the amazing deco tilework of the surrounding buildings and of the visitors who walk through this hof on the way to the other shopping hofs further inside. Our meal was quite satisfactory, the service prompt. A quick peak inside suggested that this will make a pleasant fine dining location in less outdoor friendly weather. We had Linguine with clams and Burrata.

We made this our first stop on our first day in Berlin. After checking in to our hotel we walked into town, and being hungry we chose Oxymoron. What a lovely apace, mixing old and new with a bistro atmosphere. The service was good and prompt, making suggestions on wine and food. One of the highlights of lunch was the goat cheese brûlée. one of the best things I have ever had using goat cheese. I would love the recipe! Smooth, both savory with a touch of sweet with the carmelized sugar on top. Out of this world good! If you are in Berlin, hunt down this restaurant and hope they have it on the menu.

A cosmopolitan restaurant with a Berlin of the 20's and 30's flair. The food is great. There is also a nice patio if you would like a more casual feel. The restaurant is located in a great courtyard. There are other restaurants around the courtyard and the atmosphere is very lively.
Nice to be surrounded by great historical buildings.

This is a really fun small bistro-like restaurant that serves excellent salads, local beer, reasonable wine, and has a super waitstaff. It's small, and you'll probably eat outside, but you are inside the rabbit warren that's Haeckesher Hof, a 1905 vintage "shopping center." The view of passers-by is unbeatable. Skip the fast food eateries in the area and drop in on Oxymoron. You'll be glad you did.
