Great décor and atmosphere. We ordered two sushi and sashimi boats with a variety of choice. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Young hip crowd for dinner and late night drinks. Would highly recommend.

Very good for dinner prior to visiting one of the local theaters or when staying in downtown Hamburg. Food: interestingly crossover, service: good, clientele: pleasant. Good experience every time that we have been there. What more can you ask for.

We visited East for dinner after a recommendation from a friend, and were not disappointed. We had only dishes from the japanese part of the menu, including both East style Tuna sashimi and a few tuna/lobster rolls.
Everything was delicious, but most impressive the quality of the tuna was amazing! No fiber whatsoever!

We went to East before going to the Adele concert. It was the perfect place to start of an amazing evening. The design was beautiful and the outside space relaxing and chic. The food we ordered was exactly what we wanted and the service very pleasant. The drinks however beat it all. They were fantastic cocktails for a decent price .
I recommend this place highly even if the location for a tourist at least looks odd.

Very Fancy but not over the top, food was amazing. Perhaps we'd come here on the first night when we return so we have more money to spend. Lovely staff.
