Me and my friends stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and we were shocked to see no telephones in any of the rooms. The toiletries are a joke (look and feel like public pool stuff) The elevator carpet stank like a wet dog and the extra bed was super uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this as a 4*, but as a quick, cheap city break hotel, away from noise but walking distance to the city centre.

This is my third time staying in Novum hotel. It is an ideal base if you are visiting Frankfurt for a few days. The rooms are very clean and cosy, the bathroom is spotless with fresh towels each day. We did not have breakfast there but a lot of the other guests were having breakfast. It is very close to Messe and not very far from the centre of Frankfurt. We walked into the centre and it only takes 30 minutes to get there, you can also get the Uban. It is also a very safe are with plenty of nice restaurants in the area.
Very good value for what we paid. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter, the rooms onto the front of hotel can be quite noisey as the tram passes in front of hotel

The hotel was nice and the room was very big and comfortable. Its in a good convenient location close to the train, tram, supermarkets and restaurants. However, wifi connection was the worst. Keep disconnecting. Always lost the connection after one minute of video call. Other than that, a nice place.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Novum Imperial over three nights in July while travelling the country on a budget. We were after a well-priced, city centre hotel.
The hotel was clean, simple, had friendly and helpful English-speaking staff who gave us a quick overview of the city when we checked in.
The hotel also held our bags free of charge a couple of hours before check-in and did the same when we left but didn't leave the city until later on.
The hotel isn't about a half and hour walk from the station - just about close enough with four heavy rucksacks to walk. However, there is a U-Bahn stop five minutes walk away, making getting around easy.
We hadn't included breakfast in our package and at €14 a day, we thought this was expensive. As an alternative, there is a lovely cafe called Extra Blatt which does fantastic breakfast down by the U-Bahn stop.

The hotel was very conveniently situated. Very helpful Reception staff. Very clean and good facilities. Free WIFI and tea/coffee making. Quiet. Coffee not replaced on first morning, but quickly remedied.

Room Tip: Our room was at rear and had views over gardens and trees.
