I used this hotel for a stayover before my early morning flight out of FRA. It was perfect for that purpose. Parking (up to 8 days) and shuttle service to and from the airport terminals were included in the room rate (Park, Sleep & Fly).

The room was clean, rather large, and did not show signs of wear.

Hotel location is somewhat remote. Do not rely on any shopping or entertainment opportunities in the vicinity. For food and drinks, you have to rely on the hotel amenities (ok, in no way outstanding, price/performance ratio rather high).

Lufthansa put my wife, daughter and I up here when they messed up our flight and they gave us 20 euro each for dinner. It was late and we didn't want to eat but my wife went in search of water. When she found some, the member of staff there wanted all three vouchers (worth a total of 60 euro) for three (large) bottles. Outrageous! No other commiseratory drinks for us, then!!!

Other than that, though, the hotel was clean, had everything we needed in the room (except no signal on the TV and shower gel run out in our room) and the rooms were a decent size. Plenty for breakfast including a wide selection of teas.

We ended up staying at the IntercityHotel because of a package deal advertised on the website of Frankfurt Airport: 1 night stay, 8 days of parking and an airport shuttle, for a good price. Very convenient for one week holidays flying out of Frankfurt.

We arrived late in the evening, ~23:00 and unfortunately a bus had just delivered a bunch of travelers that got stranded by some flight mishap, so there was a sizeable queue at the check in counters. But the staff were efficient and quick and it didn't take long until we had our room keys. Despite the late hour, a baby cot was brought to our room within minutes of us arriving there.

We had booked a family room, which consists of two standard rooms that shared a small hallway with a separate door. This way the rooms can be rented out as two separate standard rooms (with the hallway door left open) or as a family room (with the hallway door operated by the keycard). In our case, this latter option meant we had plenty of space.

The rooms where clean and were reasonably comfortable. Nothing that particular stood out, just a solid sleeping option in a convenient location for airport travelers. There was plenty of parking space available on the parking lot of the hotel, which features the common system of getting a parking ticket upon entry and validating the ticket by paying the time-based fee before leaving. The parking area is open to anyone, but with the package deal, you receive a voucher that can be inserted into the ticket machine for up to 8 days (192 hours) of parking.

The shuttle to and from the airport runs twice per hour and takes 10-15 minutes. The trip from hotel to the airport requires a €7 ticket for those that don't have a package that includes the shuttle. The shuttle can be crowded.

In general: a good and efficient hotel that does what it should do: Sleep and move airport travelers without too much fuzz.

It's a good hotel for a stayover.
It's very close to the airport so you get to see many planes flying.
The rooms are good and clean.
There is parking space available.
Dint have food at the hotel so can't say about it.
Overall a decent property for a night's stay.

I had to stay there one night after my flight to Philadelphia was cancelled.
The room is absolutely nice, spacy and silent.
The bar staff is unique, friendly and honest.
Then I went for the 'dinner buffet' which was included in my airline voucher.
The 'dinner' had nothing to to with food. If there was a chef involved, he had no honor.
To put it polite: that was a first-day apprentice's worst day in life. It just sucked. Convinient food as far as you can see. The pork was left in the oven just as long as it needed not to be rare. The pasta had a side taste of canned peppers, peas&carrots came straight the way of the deep-frozen bad w/o any seasoning.
It was not just 'not good' but really disgusting. Needed serous booze after that 'dinner' experience.
Awful.
Pull me away from the bar after I have been drinking until 3am and I'd do way better. And I don't mean better but worlds apart.
Everyone interested is cordially invited to test.
Unbelievable. Never again!
