Hotel Falk is a convenient, business oriented hotel in a great neighborhood close to both the S Bahn and U Bahn, a block away from shops of every sort. The rooms are small and sound proof, with a full bathtub (unusual these days!) and very comfortable sheets and pillows. Breakfast is lovely, with a full array of deli meats, breads, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, vegetables and fruit. There is always someone at the front desk, and in our experience all the employees spoke both German and English.

The hotel has all the basics you need for a short stay. Realible wi-fi and spacious room. Good location, quite central and within a 10-15 minute walk to the old town. Staff wasn't extremely nice though and the housekeeping lady wanted to kick us out of the room before the check-out time! They did not even informed us that breakfast was included in the reservation and we ended up having breakfast elsewhere.

This is a basic no frills, bed and breakfast. For your morning tea you need to trudge down to the ground floor even if you are in your pyjamas!!! Its clean, spacious and with surprisingly comfortable beds. The street is quiet and the real secret is the street parallel to it Leipziger Strasse. There are a wide variety of restaurants here which more than make up for a lack of dining options at Hotel Falk.

The bathroom I got had a shower stall perhaps designed for a contortionist. It is small and takes some getting used to. Nevertheless it was clean and very well arranged.

Room Tip: If you are of even average build, please ask for the size of the bathroom attached to the room you get.

This is a quiet hotel in a quiet but interesting part of town. The hotel has everything you would want and the breakfast included in the price was excellent. The room I had was simple and so less stressful than trying to deal with the fancy cosmetics, the entertainment systems and silly lighting of many apparently more upmarket places. The WiFi was free and of high quality, the air conditioning worked extremely well on very hot days the television had just enough programmes and the en suite was just right. I always find German pillows too soft but another was provided without question and all of my contact with the staff on duty was what I would expect. The location was excellent with easy access to the U-bahn and so to the centre of the city. Five nights here showed what can be done by a hotel to provide excellent value and an atmosphere conducive to relaxing and enjoying time with family. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.
