Perfect view of Rhine from above. Down the Rhine is it also a majestic view. The food kiosk has still a lot to improve though. It would've been a much better experience if up there, there is a better restaurant or wine bar.

At the top of the cabin lift from Rudesheim, or up the chair lift from Assmannshause, followed by a pleasant 30 min stroll through the woods. Very impressive workmanship on the monument itself, but the views from the platform in front of it stretch for maybe 50-miles on a clear day.

You might wanna take the cable car to monument. It costs only 9€ there and back and the ride is very smooth. From the statue you can see spectacular view over the Rhein
