I stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. It's a nice hotel, good staff, nice breakfast buffet. Interesting interior, with internal glass elevators.

Only problem is the WiFi is stupidly priced. The lobby wifi is free for 30 minutes and you have to go back to the desk each time to get a code. It's €17 per day in the rooms for business broadband. As I said, extortionate.

Thanks to the excellent treatmet of the managment, Miss Nadine Westphal, and the whole staff, the hotel worked perfect for us(wife and me) in an almost exclusive busness trip to Dusseldorf. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the Kó, to many restaurants, and very quiet. Clean and very comfortable.
Although very expensive, which seems to be a must in ALL the hotels of Dusseldorf during the Medica exhibition, we are very grateful and happy to stay ALWAYS in this hotel. We have being coming here for the last twenty years! (The hotel has changed names and managments several times) and hope to still do it.
Brfst at the "restaurant" very good, excellent! everything you want to start the day and more. The waitresess very kind and helpful.
The only black spot is that no bsnss center and in top of the price of the room, they charge for internet !

This was my first stay at this hotel but is surely being followed by others. I only stayed for one night but I liked everything about. Especially the location as our office is more or less next door but also the friendliness of the staff. Rooms are nice too - Thanks everyone!

The hotel was clean and very nice. Staff did not crack a smile the whole time I was there they felt very unapproachable. The rooms were really clean and well maintained, same goes for the hotel overall. Overall a decent value for a night's stay considering the location and the perks. Now comes the cons. First of all the Swisscom internet connection which they offer is an overpriced joke. Whenever I see this paid internet connection I lose all respect for a hotel and their business model. This is an outdated model that no longer suits the needs of a modern business and casual traveler. If Motel 6 can offer free WiFi I think at this point even a larger hotel chain NH can too. Almost every small or large hotel these days offers a standard wireless connection already built into the price of the stay or as a standard feature. The only places where I find this somewhat of a luxury is vacation resorts and that's really the only place I can see this still being a separate service. This hotel is not a resort. The internet is slow and insanely expensive for the service it offers. It also does not give you many options to choose from so they can squeeze every penny possible. Second negative was the price of breakfast. It does have variety but not enough to be 20 Euros. Only eat it if its already built into your price or if you are in a hurry there is a bakery right across the street which can give you a decent breakfast for a fraction of the cost and better quality.

Room Tip: Not many impressive views of Dusseldorf so it really doesn't matter they all let a lot of light...

A newly rennovated building over five floors. Modern public areas and well rennovated modern rooms with simple but very clean facilities. My room was small but well decorated with built in furniture. The bathroom was especially good but only a shower. Fine for a night or two but the room was too small to spend an evening in. Although there is a pleasant bar there is no restaurant in the hotel which is not a problem as there are a number nearby but it means you have to go out. The hotel gives you a free pass to the nearby Fitness First gym if you ask which is very good. The hotel is just off the end of Konigsalle which is the main shopping street and about a 20 minute walk from the old town, media harbour or main station.

Short trip for 2 nights. Ive been on a few business trips and this hotel is very much like a business based hotel. Typical nononse, basic and standard hotel.

Checkin
Receptionist did take a while; even though it wasnt busy.

Room
Room was smallish but very modern and clean. But what did freak me out a bit was the corridors were like prison walls. Very dark and daunting corridors.

Breakfast limited selection

Food.
Doesnt have a selection at all. I order pepsi and a Pizza. But I was told it would take 45 mins. I didnt bother; went to a local resturant instead.

Overall.
Average hotel for business users who spend more time in the office than the hotel. Wouldnt take the family there.

Room Tip: Try getting a business rate. (A bit obvious)
