All of the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Very welcoming atmosphere and at all times of day a greeting from the reception staff. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. It was extremely nice to be upgraded to a junior suite on arrival. Nespresso coffee maker was useful. Bathroom had all amenities, towels sparkling white and fluffy. Breakfast buffet continuously replenished and there was always the offer of extras freshly cooked by the chef. The meal at the nearby Bulow Bistro in the Bulow Palais lived up to expectations. All of the sights of the old town were within walking distance. If we visit Dresden again will definitely stay at the Bulow.

Room Tip: Quiet as it was at the end of a small corridor away from the lift.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful room and friendly and attentive staff. Reasonable price belies the space and luxury. Easy to walk to main attractions and plenty of reasonably priced choices of eateries nearby.

It's the most cosiness hotel I've ever stayed. The hotel is close to the historical center of the city, breakfast was of gastronomic quality, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I do recommend this hotel

The Bulow Residenz and Dresden provided a beautiful ending of our trip to Germany. My husband and I had booked a Junior Suite but when we arrived we were upgraded to a Suite. The rooms were large and decorated with old world charm, but with all the modern amenities. Just sank into the beds after a long day of sightseeing they were so comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and served in lovely breakfast room. The staff was both efficient and very helpful. The location was also perfect. The hotel was in a quiet residential area in the Neustadt but close to stores & restaurants on the main promenade and a short walk across the bridge to Old Dresden. A special thanks to the staff and, in particular, Ulrike, for making our stay so memorable.

A palatial room, extremely high-count sheets, sumptuous breakfast - every detail is thought out, the personnel are all highly-trained. It's hard to believe that we can afford this type of luxury. Because Dresden itself is still relatively unknown, and the Neustadt even more so, take the opportunity to enjoy this now before it becomes too well-known and justifiably expensive.

Our family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed for two nights in this beautiful hotel. Each room was huge, luxurious, and well-airconditioned. We loved the quaint neighborhood and enjoyed the short walk to the bridge across the Elbe to the major historical sites and museums. Public transportation is also very accessible--including the train station. The neighborhood is filled with great restaurants and quaint shops.

Breakfast in the courtyard was a wonderful way to start the day.

A great place to stay!

We booked three nights here in a standard room. Whilst the rooms are slightly dated, they are very comfortable and the service is superior over most hotels.
The reception staff went out of their way to help me as I had left my iPad on the coach to Dresden. Breakfast was delicious with Sekt and a vast selection of meats and cheeses, hot dishes to order and a good selection of breads and pastries. All beautifully prepared and presented. Our room has slippers and robes and shoes were cleaned overnight. We both enjoyed the magazines left for us to read. The slightly old fashioned bathroom was most comfortable.
The hotel is very well placed for all of Dresden and only 5 minutes from the Neustadt station. There are several restaurants in this attractive old town area although we found the restaurant at the Bulow Palace slightly disappointing.
We are frequent travellers and this hotel has been an excellent experience. The price was most competitive for what we got, and we cannot recommend this hotel
enough to our friends. Stay here too, to avoid the tourists near the Frauenkirche. You only have to cross the bridge for all the main museums etc,

We are pleased with your detailed review. Too bad that you have disappointed the restaurant in the Bülow Palais. But there are plenty of alternatives in the neighborhood, that's right.
We hope you had a good journey back home and you will keep us in pleasurable memory. Thank you for your visit.
