My boyfriend & I stayed in the Parvus Suite with windows that opened onto the square below.
The Xmas markets in December are lit up with twinkle/fairy lights and the smells of wine heating with cinnamon wafted in.
It was maybe my favourite hotel of the trip.

The entrance felt very swanky with a batman-like poured concrete cavern for reception in which they give you wonderful tips for touring the city and when you look up you realise every floor in a mezzanine which can look down into reception.
The elevator is glass and so as you can imagine the whole experience from arrival to travelling to the room is wonderful.
It is very hard to do modern yet comforting... this hotel did it. Soft grey furnishings, a well designed bathroom.. fab views, a great amount of space for luggage... newspaper on desk for viewing in the morning in bed...It felt luxurious.
Ps. Dresden was the most romantic German city!
Ps. The breakfast looked INCREDIBLY hip and vibrant.

Room Tip: Figure out rooms that have VIEWS of the square- ours was a 'parvus suite'!

The first night was a nightmare! The hotel and our room itself is top, but! Next time the reception should ask, or at least they should remind you when you do the reservation, if we are not allergical to feather, because my wife is and we realized too late that the blankets and pillows are from feather. Even worse was the mattress - to get one so soft you spend the night in a ditch in a hotel €175 a night? Sorry, not acceptable. Yes, we got a bigger room with non allergical bed linen and harder mattresses the other day, but all of this didn’t have to happen and one of two of our nights didn’t have to be ruined. Also the reception didn’t tell us that breakfast is on sundays only till 11 am and we could safe the embarassing situation, when we came to the restaurant, where all the stuff has prepared it for brunch...we got an apology from the restaurant manager, but we still fell embarassed.

I had a clean impression with this hotel.
It faces a square where Frauenkirche is located, and next to the tourist info.
With privilege of hotel booking site, we could check-in before noon.
We were assigned a bright room on high floor as requested.
Room 610 - Parvus Dbl Rm - has windows in both bedroom and bathroom.
As the top floor have attic room, it is not suitable for people who are concerned about beams.
Bathtub is wide, and temperature of hot water and its pressure were satisfactory.
Wifi condition was good without stress.
Though our plan was without breakfast, it might be good with it if there was a great offer.
It is not bad, it was a little hard to open closet because there was a side table between the bed and the closet.
From the corridor on 6th, you can see the dome of Frauen church in perfect.

Room Tip: Room 610 - Parvus Dbl - has windows in both bedroom and bathroom.

Well located to the majority of interesting sites and an easy walk to the restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping.
The room was large and very comfortable. Excellent shower space and spacious bathroom area.
