The apartment was on the first floor of an historic building in the old town with easy access by foot to all the main sights. The view from the large windows to the river below where sailing ship Sirius was moored was attractive. Inside the building had been completely modernised with good quality fittings and furnishings. However the space is tight in both the bedroom and bathroom and the kitchen has very limited preparation area. We were well provided with crockery cutlery and glassware and there were nice touches such as slippers and plentiful towels as well as vanity kit and soaps. The downside was the loud noise from people outside that went on until well after midnight on the Thursday and on the Friday beyond 5am the following morning. We may have just been unlucky. Public parking was across the road by the river cost 6€ for 24 hours. There was a constant churn of movement so it wasn't a problem to get a space. Check in was a bit haphazard. As requested we gave our eta and also responded to a further request to give an hour's notice of arrival by text. Despite this we had to make a further phone call and still waited for 50 minutes outside the property before we were checked in. Not a very hospitable welcome
This apartment was convenient to central Lubeck and all restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable. The windows were very good sound proofing. It was a quiet and comfortable stay on a very busy weekend for Weihnachtsmarkt. It was a 12 minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof. We recommend this place to anyone staying in Lubeck.
