This small hotel is centrally located on a pedestrianised street near the mesquita and all the other historic sights. There is a warm welcome and the rooms are clean and very well equipped.The street is noisy in the early evening but our sleep was not disturbed at all. Breakfast is not served but there are pleasant cafes nearby.

Room Tip: Room 204 is very attractive and spacious

Older property, some handicap accessible rooms. About 2 blocks to the main mosque/church that is the reason most people go to Cordoba. Family run; they live on the property. I needed to catch early transportation and the owner woke me at 4:30 a.m and phoned for a taxi for me when I was ready to go. Don't panic at step at the front door; there's a back door with ramp.

Located in old town, walking distance to bars, restaurants and all there is to see and do in Cordoba, the place surprised us, looks recently refurbished and had exceeded our expectations, left us wondering why is not a hotel, as hostels have somewhat negative connotations for most travellers. Santa Ana is excellently priced and presented, not your average modest, basic hostel, would recommend it for your stay in Cordoba. Just keep in mind if arriving by car to park at start of old town and cross it on foot.

Situated down a small but busy side road, the Santa Ana is clean, comfortable and welcoming and well situated for visiting the lovely Old Town with all of its cultural attractions. Our double room was simply but appropriately furnished with plenty of room and hanging space. The bathroom was equally well equipped, but no hair dryer. The second floor has its own sun terrace, which was a bonus when returning from a busy day out or for having a snack lunch and relaxing. Breakfasts were generous and tasty. The only downside was that the small road outside the hotel is busy and therefore noisy if windows are left open, but this for us was a minor point when there is so much else to commend staying here.

Pros
* Clean room and bathroom
* Central location in the old town, 2 minutes from the main site, Mezquita
* Cheap single room
* Free wi-fi
* Cable TV
* Small cupboard and table
* Toiletries provided (shower gel etc)
* 10 minute taxi ride (appx 10 euros) from Renfe train station
* Maps and tourist material in the lobby
* Water available for purchase
* Elevator
* Friendly service

Cons
* Compact room so don't expect to walk around the room once your bags are down
* Compact shower stall which was fine for me but not if you are not compact
* Furnishings were a bit worn down including wall paint, but not too badly
* No breakfast, but I suggest walking out of the main city wall entrance and there are about four cafes frequented by locals with good choice and non tourist prices

Overall, a good value choice if you want to be near everything and don't mind not having a spacious single room.
