“Great apartment (3B) - great location”
Reviewed May 5, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We have just returned from a great 10 days (last week in April to 3rd of May '16) in this apartment overlooking the marina at Estepona, and have to say we loved the whole experience. So why so good :-

* Arriving we were met by Andy the owner and shown the dedicated parking space and we were shown around the apartment. He spent time talking through the places to eat and things to do in and around Estepona, as well as showing us the welcome pack of food basics. Great customer service - no agent office where they despatch you with a key and basic directions here - a very personal service.

* The apartment has been recently refurbished and has a fully tiled spacious bathroom with bath and shower over, the double bedroom opposite has a window overlooking the marina and sea, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything we found we needed during our stay. The living area is a large dining / lounge open plan space (with a/c), with large picture windows either out to the town and mountains beyond, or out over the marina and sea, with large patio doors leading out to a balcony perfectly placed to make the most of the morning to mid afternoon sun (and I suspect providing a cool evening environment in the height of summer as it's East facing). A great place to have breakfast, and in the evening to watch the bustle of the marina directly below the apartment. A quick point here - the marina is a noisy place with very busy bars open till late, however the apartment has two sets of double glazing on all the windows facing the marina, and when they are closed it's virtually silent inside on a night even when the bars are busy.. Great attention to detail.

* Furniture - there's a lovely glass dining table, a chair, three very comfortable sofa's (one of which is a sofa bed ( can't comment on the bed part as there were only two of us - but it looked a good quality Z type bed), and the lounge area is equipped with fast wifi internet, TV (if you find time to use it) with UK channels and (I think) a DVD player. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, full height wardrobes and plenty of drawer space.. On the balcony there's enough space for the round glass table with seating for 4 .... Great ....

* Facilities - The apartment block is one of four towers (9 storey) in the Paraiso complex, all are serviced by secure gates (key fob entry), entry door locks (key) and have 2 lifts per block, so are secure, but easy to access. There is on site parking which seems to fill up quickly and is very tight for parking, but the apartment benefits from a rental parking space at the front of the block next to the marina, which is dedicated to the apartment - Great attention to detail again. The complex has two pools with large sun bathing areas and sun lounger beds. The pool we used (directly next to Paraiso 1) was clean and well maintained - and very refreshing in April :-). There are two small supermarkets within 100m for supplies, and the marina / bars / restaurants etc. are at the most 50m from the entrance.

* Around ? - El Cristo beach is approx. 500m from the apartment entrance heading South either along the road, or along the marina top and across a car park. There are two quality Chiringuito on the beach, and the water is shallow for quite a way, making it safe for families with young children. We ate in a couple of restaurants in the marina - the best is the Escollera run by the local fisherman (disregard the surroundings and décor they provide the best seafood you will eat while there), the bars in April were busy at the weekend, but empty during the week (except the bar directly opposite the apartment which is busy most nights), but it was early season and I suspect it would be more lively later in the year. Estepona Old Town is a 1.2km walk away along the promenade/beach to the North and is well worth the walk with lots of traditional bars / restaurants / cafe's etc.

Overall we were very impressed with the accommodation and the customer service we received from the owners Andy and Beata. Thank you.

“Estepona a place of two halves!”

Apartment in a good location in the heart of the Port of Estepona, fabulous views from every window, great for people watching! Apartment was light and spacious for two people, We spent a month here and found the location great for getting out and about to the bars, restaurants and beaches, a short walk along the promenade takes you into beautiful Estepona old town ( and new town!), on the downside we found it extremely noisy at night from a Thursday to a Sunday (4 out of 7 nights!), and there was on quite a few occasions police activity with the nightclub across the road from the apartment, some nights going on until 6am, then the bin collections started! I agree that the double glazing kept out a lot of the night time noise, but if you like to sleep with the windows open, like we do, then it was disturbing! On the other hand it was fairly quiet through the day!

Thank you for you kind comments. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you also found the apartment and Estepona itself as welcoming as we do. I?m sorry if some of your evenings were disrupted but Estepona is a tourist destination and there was a number of Fiestas (celebratory days) In November / December and these can sometimes, as you say, continue until the early hours in the local bars & restaurants (as there is not a Night Club within the Marina area). Unfortunately therefore it might not be possible to sleep with the windows open and if you are unable to join in with the celebrations then we have provided a two lots of double glazing and a storm shutter to keep out the noise and allow you to sleep normally. The air-conditioning and the ceiling fans should keep you cool on these occasions. Hopefully this has not put you off Estepona as if you wanted to stay with us again in the future it would be our pleasure to accommodate you again.

“Fabulous apartment and location.”

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday. Andy and Beta's customer service was second to none. The booking process was so easy and they met us on both arrival and departure and answered any questions we had and gave us some useful tips. Thank you. This is the best apartment we have stayed in with the added great location and views. The apartment was modern and immaculately clean and had a fridge full of essentials. The marina had a great atmosphere and loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. A supermarket was over the road. The beach was 5 minutes walk away and there were always sun beds available. A steady 15 minute walk on the promenade and we got to the old town with very pretty streets and squares with many more restaurants. Plenty of places to sit and relax and people watch. We went on th Segways which were great fun and worth the money. The tourist train is a must at 2€ each, we've never been on a train that goes round a round about 3 times , but this one did, funny. We loved the whole holiday, thank you again Andy and Beta. We hope to be back next year.

“Great Location”
Reviewed August 10, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Great location and facilities. We stayed here for 10 days. Apartment was very good. Could do with Air-conditioning in the bedroom though. The pool at the apartments is very good for young kids. No problem getting sunbeds. The beaches are a short walk away and very good. The welcome pack from the owners is a nice touch.

We stayed in this apartment for 1 week. The location is great with fantastic views over the marina. Everything you need is close by including 2 supermarkets on your doorstep. There are also a few good restaurants at the marina . This is probably one of the best equipped apartments we have stayed in. It is a home from home well presented and clean.
Sue who met us at the apartment was very helpful .We were also grateful for the welcome pack which is a really nice touch. The only thing that is missing is wi-fi
