We chose this hotel as there was so many of us travelling. We were on a tight budget, but still wanted something that was close to everything. Etap it was! The hotel is as what the others have said...Basic! But it is clean (we stayed two nights and someone came to thoroughly clean all rooms!) and within walking distance to all "attractions". The Breakfast is dire, so don't hold your breath for a cooked breakfast, it is literally white sliced bread, long life crossiants and pre-packed jam and butter which don't taste of much apart from fat and sugar! However, if you are looking for something cheap and cheerful this is it!

The hotel was in an excellent location. Convenient to Bus and Rail station. About 10 minutes walk.
I recommend this hotel chain as we have stayed in a few. They have not disappointed us yet. It is cheap, spotless and one gets a great nights sleep.

Centrally located, near old town check in quick and polite staff who spoke English.
room small and basic but clean, okay for overnight stay but probably not for longer than one night.
Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Standard what what you can expect from a budget hotel. However the staff failed to charge the correct amount in the correct currency. When they tried to correct the mistake it turned out to be another mistake. Staff did not have the proper education for operating the technology. Now back home I have to start writing e-mails... not funny.

Have stayed in many Etap hotels throughout Europe and the UK and this was one of the nicest ones as it is relatively new. Only downfall is being so far away from the beach as this was the main puropse of our stay but you could still walk there in approx 20mins. The city centre was only approx 5 mins walk away. Was a little disappointed that you had to pay for wifi as a lot of other etap hotels have free access. The breakfast was also a little expensive for what you get so we just went to the supermarket down the road and got our own juice and crossionts for breakfast each morning. Good stay for a couple of nights.

Paid €39. Super clean and quiet room. Strong, steady, hot shower.
Just across the river to the old town and restaurants. Department store, bus, train to airport within 5 minutes' walk. Taxi from bus train station €4.

Minor complaint: no free wifi.
