The location is perfect next to the center of Marbella and beaches. It has secured parking on-site (free when I went there), a big swimming pool, huge communal spaces with sofas and tables, a microwave for you to use (as there's no kitchen it is well appreciated) and some pool tables. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Included breakfast was great considering it's included in the 19€ bed rate. Room was basic but comfortable with a nice powerful shower. Towels and soap were provided for free (not sure if it's always the case or just an off-season thing).
Would certainly recommend!

Great location, quiet but near main centre. Helpful friendly staff. Decent sized rooms €28/night incl reasonable greakfast, pool? Lounge etc.
I was pleasantly surprised. Good sized rooms with en suite. Def revommend for basic stay.

Stayed for 4 nights. Only 1 key to 3 bedded room. Key in reception when room mates out but twice had to wait 20mins for key as receptionist having coffee with kitchen staff.
No facilities to make a cuppa for self and drinks machine not working when I tried. When I booked in they said breakfast could be at 8,but was always 8.10 as kitchen staff appeared to need more time to chat amongst themselves. Disappointing as needed to be 20mins away at 8.30. Only wanted to grab a roll n cheese and run, tried to explain but got shoo'd away.... The fact I never got a cuppa tea probably added to my grumpiness!
Pool couldn't be used apparently. Never got to bottom of why but the seagulls seemed to enjoyed it.
Oh and a large group of very noisy, out of control kids stayed Friday night....

Stayed just one night but it was very clean and the room has everything you need. Good value for money and breakfast was basic but perfectly good to start the day exploring around Marbella. Great location near the old town and easily walking distance from the beach.

Got off to a bad start as I was charged more than my confirming email. Not sure that's legal. Apparently, if you're not a member of the Youth Hostel Association then there is a daily membership fee to be paid. Not a lot of money, but it's the principle and needs to be made clearer at the time of booking.
Clean, well run, spacious. Set back from the road in its own grounds with large swimming pool (which I didn't see a single person use), so nice and quiet.
I'd booked into a three bed dorm but had the room to myself for three nights which was great.
No self catering facilities. Not even a kettle to make a cup of coffee. Only horrid expensive vending machines. Having just stayed in hostels where there was free tea and coffee this seemed unreasonable.
Terrible wifi. One of these ghastly systems similar to franchise coffee shops where you have to register and type in loads of personal details. And then constantly re-register every time the line dropped. Never did get it to work on my laptop.
Communal areas were large but uninviting and nobody congregated.
One the positive side, they serve a generous free breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean. Crispy white, bedlinen and rooms serviced every day. Location is great, 12 minutes walk from the bus station. About the same, through the old town, to the beach. Seems to be in a neighbourhood of mostly retired Spanish people.
It's a shame as the people running the hostel were clearly doing their very best, unaware of how the industry has moved on in recent years.
