In July it can sometimes be a challenge to find a hotel that is not overcrowded, but the pool area of The Westin La Quinta always has plenty of lounge beds available. This made our stay more relaxing. The hotel is not very close to Marbella or the beach, but it has a lovely view over the valley and sea. The staff was very kind and made great effort to make our stay enjoyable.

Returned a week ago from a lovely week's holiday at The Westin La Quinta. We have stayed at this hotel or 3 occasions in the past when it was a Melia hotel and have always enjoyed the experience. Once again we had a really pleasant stay, the hotel refurbishment has been done really well, and the new more neutral colour scheme in the bedrooms as well as public areas is very tasteful, and really works. The reception staff from arrival and throughout our stay were very helpful and efficient. The bus service was fantastic, and although we would have appreciated a later running service as we generally didn't dine until 9pm, I can't really complain as it's a bonus that this service runs to both P Banus and Marbella. The service for breakfast was very good, and a lovely selection. I can't comment on dinner as we ate out every night but pool service was again good, however perhaps a bit more variety on the menu could be considered. Our room was a deluxe double, with two double beds, as we travelled with our 6 year old, this room worked really well for us, was very spacious and the new colour scheme was really nice....We will definitely return, we love this Hotel, we are not golfers, but love the relaxed feel by the pool, beautiful scenery, and being close enough to the action of P Banus but not too close! Thank you once again La Quinta for a relaxing family holiday.

The hotel is well maintained, large and welcoming bedrooms, lovely pool area and of course great golf. A family friendly location, with really nice hotel staff especially by the pool bar and reception.

Loved it and we will return.

The hotel has been refurbished and is now full a Westin hotel and we were back again. Delighted to see most of the staff still there, Miriam, Juan & Enrique - all very welcoming.
Great pool area, not too busy. Enjoyed the pool bar with the very friendly staff there.
Golf club terrace restaurant is great for lunch.
Rooms large and quiet. I did raise the issue of pricing, as the prices this year are substantially higher than last year. I would urge management to think very carefully about pricing, better to be full on lower prices than have lots of empty rooms?
But just ideal for a quiet get away, with the courtesy bus taking you to Puerto Banus if needed.
October will soon be here and we'll be back.
