It is a wonderful hotel at beach. Food and service was great. Gym was very small and have limited equipment. Breakfast was also good. Great holiday location to visit in Marbella, Spain. Staff was cooperative. More

Great hotel overall. I feel that the rooms were adequate, but in need of an update. The grounds are fantastic. The food and service in the restaurant are second to none with a great menu choice that changes daily. Only criticism I have of this place is that it needs a proper bar. There is a bar, but not one that draws in the guests and was often empty and very expensive. The hotel location also might put some people off as it is around a five minute drive from any main road. Although in a very nice area, the hotel is very secluded where you would struggle to leave without motorised transport.

Stayed at the Hotel Guadalmina Spa and Golf resort for the first time for a few days (July 17-20). My room was front line beach view double with a view over the pool to the sea. A lovely first floor room which was very well appointed with a good sized private balcony.
The room was very clean and well appointed with plenty of clothes storage, a mini bar, safe and a super comfortable King double and nicely air-conditioned although I didn't need that much with a fabulous breeze coming off the beach in the evenings. Great to lie in bed at night and listen to the wind and the waves! It wasn't a huge room, but it was very nice all the same. The hotel has a great reception area with lovely views of the sea and the golf course which runs right down beside the hotel to the beach. If your looking for a place to stay (and whack some balls) which is close to Banus but also quiet and private with a touch of class then this is the place for you. The port is about 12 EUR and 5-10 minutes away by taxi.
However, whilst the beachside location and hotel facilities are great, it is a little tucked away and the nearest shops are quite some way away across the other side of the main road, but one cannot have it both ways. All in all I think its one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the area and great for some R+R and well worth its 4* rating.
This hotel is definitely family friendly and also popular with couples too with a very ecletcic feel to it. I met people form all over the world here which is also a good barometer of its popularity I think.
All the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. The food and dining experience was good too especially the poolside cafe/bar and the beach restaurant. The buffet breakfast was very good too. Personally speaking I have paid a lot more for a lot less elsewhere and the acid test in all these things; is would I return? Yes most definitely !

This resort is at prime location has a wonderful beach access close to shopping mall has a very nice swimming pool spa area with many choices like jaccuzi, sauna, steam, hammam and variety of massage hotel staff is very polite good place to stay

Didn’t give the place 5 stars as it needs some money spent on it. Like the spa is in really poor condition and smells of damp.
That aside, great location, great rooms, great pool, beach location, great service and food was also very good..
Would stay here again as the golf was lovely. South course is the one to play with amazing greens and it winds through trees and beautiful land. Played the north and it wasn’t as nice as it was surrounded by flats and wasn’t as tough as the south. You also play from the hotel on the south from hole 11 and end on hole 10
The hotel is really good and the golf is superb! Well worth a visit and whilst you are there I am sure the staff will look after you as well as they looked after us! Brilliant

Wonderful hotel on the beach. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Our suite opened onto the beach and the views were fantastic. Everything in this hotel is spotless with housekeeping making two visits a day with fresh towels. Breakfast caters for every need and a choice of three restaurants to dine. Pool area is beautiful. Puerto Banus and Marbella are short taxi ride. Will definitely return to such a delightful hotel.
