We decided to book a table at the restaurant to celebrate my relative's birthday. With such incredible views and positive reviews we believed that it would be the perfect place for a celebratory meal. However, once we arrived for our 8.45 booking we were informed that they did not have a reservation under my name. They believed that it must have been badly written down when the reservation was taken and proceeded to guide us to a wonderful table right at the front of the terrace with incredible views of the Alhambra. However, 10 minutes later we were asked to move to another table as the person who's reservation it actually was had turned up. We were then moved to a table right at the back of the terrace with no apology what so ever for the mix up. We then waited another 15 minutes before being served. I later ordered the poached cod, which although rather tasty had around 15 big fish bones (see attached photo), which is rather disappointing when the dish costs 26€. Additionally, the vegetables that came with both main courses where a preprepared frozen mix and were stone cold, as were the potatoes. Throughout the meal we were not once asked how things were going, we found the staff to be rather unfriendly and inattentive. When we shared our disappointment about the quality of the main course we were met with a simple "Okay" from the waitress, yet again no sign of an apology. (The staff's lack of attention cannot be blamed on communication problems as I speak fluent Spanish).
All in all it was quite a let down, despite the wonderful views which saved the evening from being a total disappointment. It is obvious that not enough attention is paid to the quality of the food and service considering that the business relies on the setting.
