“Pretty good!”
Reviewed 22 May 2012

Really conveniently placed. Excellent, large, very comfortable rooms but loud doors banging late at night and early in the morning. Shame about the price of breakfast - the fruit looked quite sad and the bacon was undercooked - but plenty of other OK food to choose from. Shame about the internet charges, too. Stunning view of Sierra Nevada from hotel lift and from rooms on upper floors on west (back) side of hotel. Pleasant staff. I'd stay here again. If it's more than 28° outside and your room faces west you'll need the AC on full blast for at least 30 mins before it's comfortable.

Good place to stay when touring Granda. Not far from Alhambra, the Generafife and Albayzin. Taxi stand just up from hotel entrance. The rooms are quite large, modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. There is parking on site but slots are very small and very few. We had breakfast at small shop at end of the street that was lovely and inexpensive. Hotel price does not include breakfast. We would stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking pool or in the back. The street side rooms may be a bit noisy.

This hotel is not far from the great attractions of Granada (the Alhambra, the Generalife, the Albayzin) so a short taxi ride will have you there in no time. There is a convenient place to catch taxis just up the street from the hotel.

Pros of this hotel: the hotel is quite modern and the bar area looked inviting but we never had time to check it out. There is underground parking at the hotel, with all parking spaces being very tight fits. The room was a typical Abba hotel room, very comfortable and extremely quiet.

Cons of this hotel: Breakfast is not included in the room rate, and is quite expensive at the hotel. Instead, opt for the little cafe on the corner of the street where the hotel is, and you can get a decent breakfast there for a lot less. There is no free internet in the room which is a big disappointment, but you can pay for internet (it is quite expensive!)

Two things we experienced during our stay:
The first room we were given had a horrible smell in the bathroom and we asked to change rooms and this change was done with quickly and with absolutely no trouble.

There are two elevators in the hotel which took a little learning on how to operate since at times they apparently need the room key to operate, although at times that seemed random. We finally figured out that if your key does nothing and you want to go down, just hit the button for the garage, and the elevator will go down. Then you can hit they key for the lobby or for whatever floor you need to stop on.

Since we were driving a car, this was an excellent choice of a place to stay since there is parking at the hotel. We would stay here again.

We stayed here last November. Large room and bed. There was a bit of an issue with the room heating up a lot during the day which has presumably been corrected by now. I would like to add to the other reviews that we found the restaurant excellent value, the pastas were delicious.
Also, we were carrying more than we usually do (due to unavoidable circumstances) and found the stairs at the local train station a bit of a challenge. But there are plans for a new station.

I picked this hotel purely based on tripadvisor reviews. This is a 4 star hotel and has positive reviews on tripadvisor, but the price was significantly lower compared to the other three 4 star hotels that we stayed at on our recent family trip to Spain. I wasn’t quite sure what we were going to get, but since we were only going to stay there for one night, I was willing to risk it. We were positively surprised, the room was very clean, very modern and very large (even to US standards), the breakfast was not included but the food was good and the price was reasonable. The hotel is 5 minute walk from the train station and 15-20 minute walk to the main tourist attraction so the location is great. I would definitely stay there again, and if you go to Spain, you have to make a stop at Granada.

Just had 4 nights here and overall impression was favourable although we didn't use all facilities. Modern hotel and room and bathroom were of a good standard. Bar area looked impressive although didn't use it to be fair. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate but was available at €12 a head, which is more than I paid for main meal anywhere in Granada. We went 20 yards to the nearest cafe and had coffee and croissants for €5 for 2.
Reason not giving higher rating was the smell coming from the drains in the bathroom, not pleasant although okay if the bathroom door was closed although the maid always left the door open so was greeted by the pong when you came back to the room.
My other gripe which has annoyed me is that now I am home I can see that my credit card payment was converted to GBP at point of transaction, this wasn't mentioned and I don't remember being given the choice otherwise I would have chosen to keep in Euro's, only cost me £10 but still annoys me.
Location suited us as we wanted to be near Avenue De Madrid but is a reasonable distance walk to the centre so not suitable for the infirm I would say. Well served by bus routes, easily accessible from the bus station.

True to its website description, this hotel appears to be a newly-built, beautiful hotel offering more than 130 rooms, conveniently located near the train station. Few minutes away from the city centre, and a few metres from the El Triunfo gardens and the Barrio de Albayzín. The hotel has restaurant, parking facilities, conference rooms, sauna and jacuzzi. It also has wifi facilities for free at the lobby and a couple of euros if used inside the rooms.

The receptionists at the hotel are very helpful and nice.

We were in Granada there during the christmas holidays and impressed to note that we were able to get a great value of price it offered - nicely designed rooms, newly installed bathrooms, and very lovely view of Granada!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms have good view of Granada
