What a lucky find!!
Used trip advisor to find a place to stay in Granada and found this!!

Situated in the heart of Granada right opposite the Al Alhambra. Hard to find- at first - as was looking for an obvious ‘hotel’ then realised that we were standing outside two very large wooden doors- to the hotel!
Once inside, away from the 35 degree heat, we were greeted by lovely staff, whose English, was far superior to my Spanish and a much welcome glass of ice tea!
The room was very clean and spacious with an impressive sized bathroom.
Walking distance to Al Alhambra and right next to old part of the city, so eating out and sightseeing was not a problem.

There is no parking near this hotel.
Please be aware of where you park in Granada, as the signs are not always clear with regards to restrictions.

We walked to the Al Alhambra very early morning (around 430) to queue as we did not prebook. This took around 20ish minutes.

Very competitive price. We had a room only booking.

Would definitely recommend and will definitely book again should we visit Granada.

Me and my wife stayed at the hotel for 4 days and everything worked perfectly. Nice and helpsome staff in the reception, nice room with airconditioning working. Situated in the old town, very near to Alhambra. Good beds .
We had one small problem and the staff took care of it right away and fixed it.
Really recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the apartments of shine albayzin and thought it was perfect for our family of five
Granada is an amazing town and the views from our apartment were fantastic
Along the river with a clear view of alhambra (could also see from open courtyard)
We had two rooms and a common area with full kitchen
Check in was easy at hotel - just had to walk a block or two in order to reach apartment
The shops across the street were some of the best in Granada (and much more reasonably priced than plaza nueva)- had a great tapas taverna and kids lived the gelato shop
Would stay here again if we were ever in Granada

The location of the hotel Shine Albayzin could not be more perfect. The hotel is central, quaint, peaceful, historic with lovely walks on the Paseo del Darro with spectacular views of the Alhambra. It was a memorable stay in a city that is impossible to forget!

Room Tip: The breakfast is delicious and so is the specialty coffee :)

After driving around for over an hour and calling over 10 times we had to be taken there by the police.
When we walked into the room it looked nice, even after having to take our luggage up the stairs IN the room.
Later that night when we returned to the room we ran into some trouble. My bathrobe was torn where the belt goes and my partners had stains on it. The bathroom was freezing as there was no heating and we couldn’t get the toilet to stop dripping water.
That along with the malfunctioning coffee machine which made cold coffee and dim lights, dark ceilings, outdated furniture made us hate room 301.
We complained to two different staff members about all the issues and all they did was give us another towel and tell us we couldn’t get new bathrobe. Very shady. We were actually happy to get out of there and back home.
