The Alcazar of Seville was pretty incredible. The mix of Moorish and Christian architecture was beautiful. The gardens were definitely worth seeing as well. We went with a guide - Vince from Amigo Tours Seville - and he was excellent. It was well worth having a guide who is knowledgeable about the history of the palace, the architecture, and the occupants.

The guided tours offer more insight into the history and beauty of this Royal Fort... You can remain in the gardens all day if you like are large enough to find a quite space to relax. there's a small cafe and facilities within the garden area.

The Alcazar in Sevilla is a must if you’re in Sevilla.

The mixture of various architectural styles and the gardens make wonderful mixture.

Seeing the spot where the shot some scenes from GoT is a nice bonus for fans.

One hint though: as the Alcazar is very very popular there are long lines. Check out the possibility the visit with an official guide. It costs a little bit more but saves you the wait.

We went twice, once with a gide and once close to closing time. We enjoyed the second time better. We could really admire every detail. Things that I didn’t see in the morning with the gide I could admire without the stress of all the tourists groups.
Really worth it. Plus it is the set of a part or GOT...

There is so much to see. It does not matter where your interest lies, there will be something for you. Plan for 2-3 hours, especially if the weather is suitable for lingering in the gardens. The audio guide is excellent. Book in advance to miss the queues.

The Alcazar is a real gem. A wonderful architecture palace in the heart of Seville. Where you can admire the beautiful arab architecture. A real delight

While not quite as spectacular as its counterpart Alhambra in Granada, the palace and gardens in Seville are certainly well worth a visit. The palaces show exhibit the skill of the Moorish designers with a number of breathtaking rooms and spectacular tapestries. The gardens are a delight in any weather and can be seen at their best from a covered walkway that overlooks them. There is also a welcoming cafe hidden in a corner of the gardens. The queues for tickets can be formidable even on a weekday in November, and even more so at weekends, so it is well worth buying a ticket in advance on line to skip the longest queue.

What a stunning combination of architecture and gardening! Spent hours here just to truly enjoy this historical jewel, don't forget to book for the residential apartments...
overall the experience is subtle, geometrical and mesmerising!

Loads of very interesting architecture & historical artefacts to look at. It is best to pre book your tickets & avoid the queue, also if your over 65 you your passport to prove your age, as your entrance fee is a lot cheaper

The tile work was amazing and the gardens serene but the place was not very interesting with just one small room after the next. Not very interesting at all
