Owner description: Rumor has it that this beautiful tower was once tiled in gold; now, it houses a museum detailing the maritime history of the city.

We happened to walk by this landmark located on a very busy street on our way to Plaza Espana after our Real Alcázar guided tour. It’s distinct structure was easy to spot. Since it’s a secondary sightseeing choice we did not have time to explore in detail but were glad we saw it in person (a bonus) on this sunny pleasant day. Thank God there is a light controlled crossing to access the building located on the other side of a major boulevard fronting the river where there were cruise boats etc. it’s essential a tower with stairs to walk to the top to get s nice view of the city. We did not pay to go up the stairs nor tour the nautical theme museum on the first floor.

This is a place where you came climb and see great views of Seville combined with a small Naval Museum. We climb to the top first and as it was a beautiful day the views over Seville were Brillant, we then went down and walked around the Museum it was well worth a visit, and if you have kids they will love both.

Lovely small tower with interesting history. Cheap to enter at €3. The 3 levels tell some of the history of Seville, the tower, and especially naval comings and goings. Nice views of the city. Well worth a quick visit

A lot of history regarding expeditions & circumnavigations are portrayed - well worth the visit! And as a student - 1.5Euro entrance fee, I couldn't say no. :)

This is a tower from the area where the original port was. It is a meeting point for some of the walking tours and sits right by the river. We did not go in but believe that the museum element is tiny but the views from the top should be good,
