The guide (1st floor) had a strong accent when she spoke english, difficult to understand, and she looked really bored .
Beautiful palace though.

Our visit to Casa de Pilatos was one of the highlights of our visit to Seville. The 16th century "palace" (it was really a majestic private home) had been stunningly preserved with incredible tiled walls, intricate carved wooden doors. magnificent plaster and stonework and elaborate ceiling decorations. The several gardens are also beautifully designed and preserved. The palace gives you a real feel on how the upper crust lived more than 400 years ago. Definitely fit a visit in during your time in Seville. A self guided tour of the main floor with audio guide is 8E while a guided tour of the second floor adds 2E to the cost of admission.

Top value after the cathedral and the royal fort alcazar.
The palce, its evolving phases of architecture, the story of the family and the treasures from antiquity they amassed is well worth the visit. Buy a complete ticket, main floor and second floor.

Had to wait 30 mins to enter as they restrict numbers, so it does have a sense of peace. Disappointed no price reduction for senior citizens, so was one of the more expensive sites we visited. Not a great deal to see but a lovely garden you can view but not walk around. Do get a head phone guide but we found it too detailed and gave up on it.

Quite difficult to find in the labyrinth of streets around Seville, but definitely worth the visit. You can wander around the downstairs, or there is a guided tour in the upstairs rooms
