The best part is that the hotel offers great value for the price ,and the location is excellent. In walking distance to the old town, to restaurants, shops, the river, the metro, taxi rank, everything. Safe neighborhood. Rooms are clean and bright, the service was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are shared, thus not very clean. Some rooms are bigger than others, and there are also family rooms, with bunk beds. Each rooms has a TV, wardrobe, a kettle and teas. Water on the hallway. The street on which the hotel is, is a bit creepy at night, but it's safe. There is an indian restaurant and two coffee shops right downstairs, and restaurants, shops, coffee shops, bank, taxi rank, metro...right around the corner. The old town is 10 min away walking. I was there on my own, had a very little room facing a courtyard, but can't complain about anything really. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic stay, or for a family holiday, because of the shared bathrooms. However, while I was there there were several families with young kids staying. It's an excellent cheap solution for someone who is passing through Bilbao and needs only a few nights to stay, nothing fancy.

Room tip: choose a room that is not right near the bathrooms if possible...

Very centric and clean! The room is small, but the bed is comfy.
I recommend it if u are staying for few days only and if u plan to spend ur day out in the street to come only to sleepover. Ah and bring some earplugs cos there are loads of noise.

Zubia Urban Rooms is a simple hotel ideally located in Bilbao. Big plus for the cleaning - it's really super clean! Good value for money.

I highly recommend this place if you're looking for cheap, clean and free wi-fi.

I was a little sceptical of booking a place with a shared bathroom, but Zubia Urban Rooms had plenty of them, they were very clean and I was only there for one night.

The location super close to the river is great. 10 minute stroll to the Guggenheim along one side of the river and then walk back along the other side for a different view.

The tourist office is just around the corner, and there's bars and eating places close by too.

I had a room where I could hear the outside noise, but I had no trouble going to sleep. The room was small but the bed was comfy and that's more important to me than loads of space.

It was cheap and clean and had free wifi, which is just what I wanted.
