This is an unusual place in a lovely location - right in the middle of the historic Paseo de los Arquillos which has great views all over the city. It's certainly quirky - each room has a "character" theme which plays into a central story, explained on the walls of the hotel. There's a nice communal area on the top floor where you can get coffee and tea and a continental breakfast, and there's plenty of information on the city up there - leaflets, books etc. We didn't see anyone during our stay until the last hour when we were leaving - we got in using a door code - so it was a bit like being in an apartment rather than a room in a guest house.
There's a big "but" in all this though. We were there on a Friday night and this place is above an extremely popular, noisy bar which was open until 4am. The windows are double glazed and would be fine if closed but as there's no air con or fan, and the room gets very hot, we had to have them open and tough it out.
If you're a party animal, or an extremely heavy sleeper, this place is for you. If not, and you're staying at the weekend, invest in some heavy duty earplugs.

We booked a room on the day we arrived. The Hotel is situated on the second floor of a 200 year old building, in the heart of the beautiful city of Vitoria. The woman at the front desk was friendly but didn't speak English. Room was very nice and clean, confortable bed and very nice bathroom. They serve a small breakfast with coffee and some pastries but not during weekends. Wifi is for free, good connection. Printing out was also possible via the reception. All in all very good for a short stay in Vitoria. In the evening we could do everything in walking distance. Very nice restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Food in Vitoria is amazing (the city won the price for gastronomy in 2014). Try out the pinchos!

This is a quirky property located right in the old centre of the city and has oodles of character. The communal breakfast/food/relax in area at the top of the house is a nice space. The only disadvantage that I could think of was the fact that there was no lift so if you have a lot of (or just heavy) luggage, you'll be cursing and swearing having to carry it uop one or two flights of stairs!

Loved it, didn't want to leave this lovely city, absolutely loved the trip, and a big part of it was waking up every morning to the views that this Hotel offers (well that, and the fact that I could eat off of the floor of this city since everything was so well kept and so clean!).

The owner is absolutely lovely and accommodating. I will obviously be back as soon as I can and this time I'll take a car to visit all the wineries and villages around the city.

I'd just note that this is in a listed building in the old town, so if you bring a car you'll need to park outside of the old town and it has quite a few stairs up to the hotel. Other than that, this was perfect, the most romantic B&B I've ever been to.....maybe fighting with one in Venice.
