We used the studios located in Street Santa Maria. They are around 35 sq meters with a big twin bed, a complete bathroom with shower, a small kitchen well furnished and a coach with a TV to relax. The furniture is of IKEA, not of great quality but comfortable and aesthetic.
It is located just besides the cathedral in the old part of Vitoria. You can reach walking everywhere.

Since the hotel is just above a busy street we both woke up in the middle of the night because of the noise outside. Also our room did not have real curtains so at 7 o clock it was very bright in our room. We didn't have hot water on the second morning of our two night stay.

Very close to the old centre of town, 10 min walk from the university and right in the middle of the area with the best bars for wines and pintxos, this casa has spacious rooms that are clean and quiet, thanks to double doors that keep the noise out. Great rain shower, excellent wifi connection, yummy fresh orange juice at breakfast, very organised.

Fabulous night spent at this hotel. Slightly hard to find but after that amazing.

When you park up in the allocated parking space you need to do the following:

Walk to the arch way and the rather tired gold sign saying Los Arquillos then walk along this passage until you come to the hotel. About half way you will go outside again and then pick up the coveted archways. Keep going towards the end and you will see the hotel.

The receptionist was lovely, v helpful and friendly.

Excellent complimentary breakfast including fresh orange juice and great expresso coffee.

Every time we are in Vitoria-Gasteiz (which is often!) we stay at La Casa de Los Arquillos. We usually stay in the cute hotel in the Virgen Blanca, but we found out that there were studios added on the same road as the old Cathedral of the city. Since we know we love the hotel, we wanted to try these out!

While these don't have the same quirky charm of the original hotel - they have other amenities that are great - especially for families or those with mobility issues.

We especially loved:

Kitchen
Lift
Great space for relaxing/sofa/tv
Our studio had lovely windows to a garden
Quiet location

For those who love a city centre location, but all of the conveniences of a new hotel - this is definitely a good option! Would highly recommend!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room towards the garden!
