This is not a 4* star hotel it is a 3* at best. The plus points are is that it is close the bus station, our room on the 6th floor was quiet except from plumbing noises coming from the bathroom and staff are warm and friendly.

That is it! The air con needed to be activated via reception. We explained we would like this on as the room was very warm even though it was cool outside. He tapped away at the computer as if he was hacking into fort knox but it still did not work! Sheets are thin and torn and I felt like bed bugs were sharing my bed so slept on top of the thin quilt/sheet, carpets stained red (yuk), no iron, no kettle, standard room faces some dirty walls. Corridor dark and stained. Standard double room was so small the bf banged his toes each time he moved round the room.

If you need a pit stop for 1 night you will be fine but don't book for 4* luxuries as there aren't any.

We did not dine so couldn't comment. We are staying in a 4* in Cala D'or which is magnificent so that may of tainted our opinion of what to really expect for a 4* hotel but this defo was not that rating anymore.

Palma is nice but would do it on a day trip next time. Not worth staying over. Adios Amigos.

The main attribute of this hotel is its location - handy for the city centre, airport bus as well as train and bus connections to all parts of the island from the adjacent transport interchange. Although our room was spacious and comfortable, its decor was tired. Corridors were also shabby and institutional. Did not feel that the hotel offered value for money.

The hotel misrepresents itself completely in its own publicity.The hotel purports to be four star, but it is impossible to comprehend how it got this designation or who awarded it.
I made a booking for four of us, six months in advance, and requested rooms in close proximity or at least on the same floor. On arrival we were told that this was "impossible" because the hotel was busy! Strange this, because we saw very few other guests in four days - even at breakfast. A simple request, made well in advance, just ignored - not a good start.
On its website the hotel claims to have a bar, unfortunately it has a small number of seats in a common area, which is virtually a passageway to the breakfast room, and the bar (actually the breakfast counter) closes at 5pm!! I have searched the website but can find no mention of this early closure. When I enquired about it at reception thjere was little interest or concern. The consequence of this means that groups of guests cannot meet or relax communally in the hotel. How can you claim to have a bar when it closes at this time?
Also, the website mentions dinner and the "exquisite cuisine" available - dinner is simply not available and breakfast is average at best. The service at breakfast is not open to comment because it is all self service! There is no hot food except hard scrambled eggs (lukewarm) and pieces of warmed frankfurter style sausage. How can claims to "exquisite cuisine" be justified?

The check in area and lobby are tiny and at busy times you would have to queue into the street. Check in was slow and the hotel demanded payment up front instead of settlement on checkout as is normal. This makes guests feel like potential criminals. It is acceptable to take a quick swipe of a credit card of course, but not to go through the whole rigmarole of invoice, payment and receipt at check in, with newly arrived guests feeling like the hotel regards them as untrustworthy.
The passageways and corridors are dark and dingy and the carpets are simply filthy and stained. Worryingly most of the fire doors were wedged open, which would appear to be a serious risk. The rooms are small and dark (mine had a view of a tatty smoking area) and the carpets in the room were also dirty and stained. The carpets have been criticised in a number of other reviews, but the hotel has appeared to take no notice. The room had no facilities for making drinks or nice touches like complimentary water.
Also on the website the hotel claims to offer "Majorcan history, culture and cuisine to all of its guests". There is no cuisine, the hotel is a concrete edifice and there is no evidence of anything cultural.
The location is convenient for city services but the hotel is trading on this on offering little else except pretty high charges for few amenities.
I hope the hotel management will not respond to this review with platitudes and generalisations, but instead take a serious look at itself and improve its services or, at least, tell the truth in its publicity.
This is not a four star hotel, has apparently not reacted to past criticisms and I would recommend others not to stay here.

We spend one night at this hotel after travelling around the island. Even if the hotel is located at very center in Palma, we thought it was too busy atmosphere around because of big route and buss-station.
We booked suite room, but because of winter (out was +21 celsius) there was no air conditioning and inside the room was about +30 celsius because sun shined all day to the room. Staff we very helpfull and we tried to change to another suite but it was also to hot for staying. After all, we had standard room which was clean and ok, but those carpets are old and makes my nose runnig all night because of the dust.
Breakfast was ok but that and standard room didn't replace the price of the suite room.. We couldn't have any our moneys back or not even apologises so I think next time we choose another hotel in Palma.

The location is perfect and the staff really friendly and helpful. If you rent a car, the hotel will provide you a card for the nearby parking.
A better or perhaps a bigger fridge would be much appreciated especially during july and august.
