Nice bar near the Maria Ship in town. Nicely set out near the square. Waitress took our order without writing it down. We asked for a side order of chips, they did not appear, but in fairness we were not charged for. Reasonably priced considering the location.

Good position on the corner of Plaza Alameda with outdoor seating shared with the place opposite.
We passed by at lunchtime & it was busy & we liked the bustling location so went back early evening & it soon became busy again with mainly locals, I think.
Choice of Tapas, Areperas, boccadillos, drinks etc.
Service was quick & friendly, drinks arrived speedily, bit of a wait for the areperas but not inordinate.
They were hot & tasty, the lager was cold & the price verging on cheap. Enjoyed watching the world go by.
Nothing bad to say & almost tempted to add another star ( half stars would be useful )
Would visit again.

Passed this place a couple of days before and found the card suitable for us (vegetarians) and cheap.
So we decided to give it a try for a quick snack after a day of sightseeing.
Well talking about "quick": it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes from getting there to paying for some food and drinks that took us 10 minutes to consume.
In the beginning we were the only customers, there were never more than tree tables to serve at the same time, including ours. A (local) lady who was ignored for 10 minutes left without ordering.
The waitress picture won't be find in the encyclopedia next to "polite".
And she found enough time to chat with passersbys, the beer delivery guy, a couple of cops, an old guy sitting at the memorial.
Her whole attitude was not professional at all. We left without tipping.
Oh yeah: what about the food? Would have given 2 out of 5 stars if it would have been a 15 minute thing. So I give 1 - just because 0 ain't possible here.

The good thing about this place was the staff, we didn't have to wait long to be served and they were very helpful and friendly. The bad thing was the food and that's quite important given it's a restaurant. We ordered four tapas and all but one was massively over cooked and lacking in taste. Very disappointed
