Fresh food finally! We have been craving some fresh food after a week in Spain. This is the place! We ordered a fatoush and a yoghurt salad and they were delicious. We also ordered falafels and the chicken couscous, way too much for two but it was so tasty we couldn't help but eat it all! Posada El Cristo de la Luz is a special place. Historically, the building itself is incredible. You can see the original gate to the old city through the floor - this was the entry gate to Toledo back in the day. The owner has decorated the place beautifully with artifacts and gentle lighting. We found it to be a very reflective, spiritual ambience. The owner Ghaleb is a highly intelligent conversationalist, full of interesting stories and information. We chatted for over an hour with him after dinner, a lovely connection. But really, if all you want good food at a decent price, you can't go wrong. I'll be back next time I visit. Alhamdu lilah!
