En route from Porto to the Basque coast and stopped here one night. It was an ideal one night stop-over and was amazingly cheap. The situation of the hotel is a bit remote - 5kms out of town but handy for the motorway the next day. Be warned it is in an industrial area with a big factory over the road and a derelict plot next door (our room over-looked this) and a pen of dogs out the back at a neighbours (not as noisy as I had anticipated) but can't fault the room itself, which was spotless and good value for a clean, comfy bed for the night. I imagine the hotel gets mostly business travellers and workers during the week time so it was very quiet on a Saturday night.

After a long, hot drive to get there, we opted to eat in the restaurant and had aperos in the bar and were brought olives etc with our drinks (but only by the second round, and after having purchased some apero biscuits with the first round!)

There was not a soul in the restaurant at 8.30pm and we were left in total isolation to eat! The waitress was like something from Fawlty Towers and despite our efforts to converse (in Spanish) and smile, she served us stony faced and almost threw the food at us. Across the room they had laid up for a very large coach party and we were clearly an addition she did not want with a busy night to come!

The food really was dreadful! A bizarre entrée of spaghetti bolognese, followed by a dried up bit of chicken breast and 10 shrivelled and well cooked chips (looked and tasted as though they had been re-cooked at least twice). Dessert was described as a chocolate cake and it really was a mass manufactured piece of very cheap cake. A total disappointment and, TBH, I would have rather had a McDonalds back in the town - it was that bad!!

So I have only given the hotel an "Average" for the above reasons but if you just take the bed for the night, then it would be a higher score. After the previous evening's experience, we did not take breakfast so cannot comment on this.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back, which overlooks a neighbour's dog pen but really there are no rooms wi...

This was a 3-night break in a long journey round Spain and Portugal. I had seen Burgos briefly before and wanted more time there so I chose the Las Vegas on Trip Advisor reviews and price. It was a real pleasure to be there and I really wanted to review it because it was so good. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are anxious to be helpful, there really is a good bus service into town right outside for one euro each way and the price is simply unbeatable. My Spanish was of no use because the staff spoke English to me. It is very modern looking outside but has a dated and friendly look inside, just a question of style really. I would be very happy to use it again.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a dual carriageway but the rooms are quiet.

We chose this hotel for our stop off point en route to Bilbao because a recent review said it was a well located stopover for the journey. We were very impressed - The staff were friendly and helpful (we speak Spanish, but their English was excellent), the rooms were clean and well maintained as were the public areas. We had a very reasonably priced and tasty evening meal in the restaurant and the room price included breakfast the next day, also excellent. The snack bar was of the same high standard and we could not fault anything during our stay. We commented that we have stayed in 4 star hotels in the past that were not as comfortable as Las Vegas - I don't mean it is a luxury hotel, but it is excellent value for money and was more than adequate for our needs.

Room Tip: The rear facing rooms are quieter

Stayed for one night in December on route for Bilbao. Ideally situated not far off main route. The Hotel seemed a bit dated but everywhere was exceptionally clean. Room was average size but lacked more than one electrical socket and quite basic. No kettle or crockery which is always a nice addition. The heating was antiquated radiators which did not come on until after 6pm and was really needed in December. The breakfast was included in the price and was what you expect for this type of hotel in Spain. The menu offered in the evening although a good price was nothing to write home about. When we asked for the secure parking, we was directed to the side of the hotel, although free we did not see the side entrance closed all night, so not what we would call secure. The free wifi was very good in the room, even on the forth floor. Overall, good for a one night stay to break your journey and for the price paid.

Room Tip: Take a multi plug adaptor if you have lots of electrical items like phones, tablets or laptops.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, and has always been good value, we had bed breakfast 3 course evening meal with a bottle wine all for £50.
Rooms are large and comfortable, bathrooms have plenty of space too.
Windows are very low down and small.

Room Tip: if you don't want a noisy night ask for a room at the back, as the rooms on the front are on the...

This hotel fulfilled all my expectations considering the price. The room with free wifi, good bathroom and comfortable bed, dinner(3 courses €11.50) and breakfast were excellent. Just right for journey break from Costa del Sol to Bilbao ferry.
