We chose this hotel because we were en route and it was handy to leave and rejoin our journey. In that sense it was ideal.
Slightly quirky because it seems like it's been lifted from somewhere else and dropped out of the sky into the wrong place. It's in a bland business/industrial zone, next to a bleak car lot, and yet when you walk in, it's rather grand in a faded sort of way.
We had some confusion in checking in, in that the desk manager(?), when we asked to add an evening meal to our bed and breakfast booking, told us dinner would be free, on the house. He reiterated that and we thanked him effusively.
Later, when it came to dinner, the offer seemed too good to be true, with apparently free wine, and we didn't feel comfortable with the situation.
Sure enough, the next morning, on checking out, we were presented with a bill for the evening meal, which wasn't unreasonable really, but when we mentioned our confusion, the lady on reception looked at us like we were mad or trying to cheat them. Most odd, and we were happy to pay for the food anyway, which was excellent.
Right, to basics. The room on the top floor was pleasant but a bit warm without a/c and we struggled to open the windows fully. The bed was comfy, the shower was excellent (and we needed it to keep cool) the room was spacious and characterful.
All-in-all a very good, if slightly confusing, stopover. It was easy to find and navigate our way out of the next morning. Reasonably priced too.
As for the meal confusion, we can only guess that the desk manager mistakenly thought we were on half-board.

Room Tip: Avoid top floor rooms in summer heat

The hotel is a little bit far away the City-center: it's located along the Main road, a few km before Burgos, but that's not a Problem. The hotel receptionist was very Kind and gäbe US a Lot of usefull Suggestion for a smart visit of town. Our Room was Large, quiet and confortable. The breakfast was very good and rich, respect to the category of two star. It was a really good stay.

We didn't believe sat nav as it was so far away from Burgos. Walking directions from hotel on google maps advised 1 hour 27 mins !!!! We are travelling around Europe hoping to drink in the atmosphere of well known towns, villages and cities. Most disappointed that this was in an industrial area. Nevertheless lunch was yummy despite being full of local workmen and feeling very self conscious as one of only two women eating. Room was not ready mid afternoon and we were advised to eat while we waited (and only when receptionist prompted the cleaner. ) Room was cool, spacious but basic. One, Tiny pillow and dirty white cover. Small twin beds. Ok if just en route elsewhere and not interested in local attractions.

Like other reviewers, we stayed here after a ferry crossing before travelling further south. It's easy to find, just off the main routes, so easy to get going again, but a little away from the town, so if you want to see the town, perhaps there are better places to stay. The hotel has a very spanish 1950's feel to it, with lots of dark wood, brass fittings and mirrors, but our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well equipped, although (typically) there were no plugs in the bath or bidet, and not surprisingly given the age of the property the bath enamel was a little chipped. Breakfast was a typical continental buffet with a good selection of breads, pastries and meats etc., and well presented. Our ferry was late arriving, and we were unsure if we would get there before the advertised 23:00 end of check-in so emailed in English and spanish to let them know, and got a reply in English, which was spoken by the helpful receptionist when we got there - a good point if your spanish isn't of the best. Plenty of car parking. We'd certainly stay again if we are in the area.

The rooms are clean and comfortable but a bit austere. Near the city center, about 5 km, you will need to take the car to go. The advantage is that they have a parking and it is very calm. Easy to arrive from the freeway, if you are traveling and want to spend your night on a calm affordable place, it is a good choice. Breakfast is OK with a choice of pastries and cold meats. There is nothing around so if you want to have dinner you will need to go down town, but that is not a problem. Only negative point, the bathroom. It was in the third floor but above the kitchen, so impossible to open the window without having the smell of food and grease.

Conveniently situated for an overnight stop or as a base to see Burgos. Lovely clean rooms, adequate breakfast and an unremarkable but cheap menu. We stay about twice a year on our way to Madrid. Will be staying there again this spring.
