The hotel is quite modern and well maintained (good cleaning services). Service can sometimes be a little bit slow (for example during breakfast there are not enough waiters).

The largest inconvenience for us was that we specifically requested an interconnecting room (for parents and two small children) and even though we were told by e-mail there was no problem, when we arrived it turned out there is no such a thing at the hotel. The best solution they provided for us was two adjacent rooms with one common entrance (with a foyer).

In addition, the so called free wireless service did not work in our rooms (they told us because these were corner rooms).

Staff was polite and friendly, although not very efficient/helpful sometimes.

Overally, an above average hotel (not recommend with little children, only older ones) with a decent money for value proposition.

Another thing to remember is that beyond breakfast that is served, there is no real restaurant operating in the premises (only a bar with light food/snacks).

Our room was very narrow, with the bed facing a wall ... Bare floors, only one chair in the room, for the desk. The view out the window (of the church) was hard to see unless you were at the desk or standing in front of the window. This hotel would perhaps be fine for younger, sturdier people. We are 60+ and did not find this to be a comfortable place to stay. Beds are quite hard. I would like to commend the staff ... They were very kind and responsive.

We stayed here for six nights in June 2011, and the hotel was fantastic. When we arrived we were offered an upgrade to a room with views of La Sagrada Familia (for 25 euros per night) - and after declining, were transferred for free anyway. The room and facilities were very good, staff very helpful, and the rooftop bar had great food.

All of the major sights are within walking distance, and the main city tourist buses stop round the corner at La Sagrada Familia. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We didn't think the 25 euro upgrade for La Sagrada Familia views was worth it - but were offered...

The hotel was lovely, a few things did let it down, the lack of double beds (even though our booking was for a double room and not a twin!), we did enquire when we got upto our room and were told that kingsize were available......for an extra payment. The second item was the noise coming through the balcony door, it was like the rubber seal had either not been put on properly or the door had not been fitted correctly. One last thing, no kettle, no milk, all we got were 4 bottles of "complementary" water (2 still, 2 sparking). Should we have wanted more then we would have had to pay for them which was a bit cheeky considering the cost of the hotel. We had some lunch in the bar on the ground floor which was nice.

Room Tip: Get a kingsize!

Situated in one of the best areas of Barcelona and offers rooms with views of the Sagrada Familia. Price / benefit ratio is very good. Easy and convenient transportation from the airport express train with the blue line past 5 minutes' walk from the hotel can be accessed by scrolling to the Sagrada Familia. If you would prefer a taxi in the city very convenient for transportation, such as La Rambla street with a number gidebiliyorsunuz 7 EUR. The quality is very good Terrace Room offers you a fantastic view. Excellent hotel in one word I would recommend it to anyone
happy Holidays

The hotel was ok, but for a four star hotel I would have expected at least a coffee maker and some cups in the room. There were only 4 small bottles of water in the tiny fridge and the shower gels were refilled only after asking the main desk to tell the maids to do so (along with the latter forgetting to bring fresh towels every day). The receptionists are extremely helpful and they speak English, which is a huge deal in a country that I found difficult to navigate through due to the language problem (the menus were also translated in a very poor English so most of the time I ended up eating something I didn't really order). The beds were good and the sheets very nice. Not too noisy if you kept the window closed. Pay attention to the two sets of blinds, there's a permanent light at the balcony so I went to the reception to ask how I should turn it off - they said there was no way to do that, but there are double blinds so that was ok. Not too many restaurants around, but the biggest plus was the 2 minute-walk to Sagrada Familia and the metro - take the purple line and you're in Placa de Catalunya in 15 minutes tops.
I thought it was a little expensive for the quality of the accommodations, but overall the proximity to SF was totally paying off.
I did not have breakfast, 15 euros were over the top expensive for the poor choices they had, just go and grab a 1-2 euro croissant and a coffee and you're gonna be better off this way.

Nice hotel for a weekend break at Barcelona. Great location: two steps to Sagrada Familia, near by the metro station. Nice breakfast and nice modern rooms, although a little too small.
Car parking at the hotel for an extra fee. Free wi fi at the lobby. Nice terrace with a great view to Familia Sagrada!

Room Tip: ask for a room view to Sagrada familia
